After inflicting upon us the managed decline of the NHS, public transport and most of the fabric of the nation, a decade of Austerity that didn't pay down a single penny, Brexit, the lockdown that didn't seem to apply to them, the furlough debacle and then, after all that... crashing the economy, that's quite a statement!
And who could fail to be impressed by the political acuity of the likes of grant shaaps and nadine Dorries, as they forged careers as giants of Britain's political story.
I think some people don’t know the difference between gravitas and charisma. Charisma on its own is overrated because we end up with clowns like Johnson. Gravitas on its own is not ideal either but it’s far preferable than just having charisma which Johnson had used to good effect over decades to further his own career by fooling the gullible. Shame it took a terribly managed pandemic for him to come unstuck.
