TBF, Beckham worked his arse for the team. More of a team attitude than Bellingham.
I am now going to wash my mouth out with soap

Talkshite reporting that Bellingham bellowing to the bench last night to get Kane and Foden to “press more”
I thought Bellingham was part of the leadership team - shouldn't he have spoken/shouted at the players on the pitch, not at the benchDon't much care for the arrogant Bellingham but He has a point Kane lazy fuck did no pressing jogged around like a 50 year old foden pressed a bit but not as much as bellingham Big problem was Kane and when anyone did press it wasn't as a team

You thought Bellingham pressed effectively? Once he caught Carvajal on his heels and dispossessed him but other than that there were a few reckless lunges that could easily have got him carded and not much else. He was as culpable as anyone else for the press being ineffective. Nonsense for him to be shouting the odds at the bench for others not doing the pressing for him.Don't much care for the arrogant Bellingham but He has a point Kane lazy fuck did no pressing jogged around like a 50 year old foden pressed a bit but not as much as bellingham Big problem was Kane and when anyone did press it wasn't as a team
I must have watched a different game as I didn’t see Bellingham do anything apart from dive about, lose the ball, pass to Spain and hide in the middle of the other 21 players on the pitch.Don't much care for the arrogant Bellingham but He has a point Kane lazy fuck did no pressing jogged around like a 50 year old foden pressed a bit but not as much as bellingham Big problem was Kane and when anyone did press it wasn't as a team
I genuinely didn’t mean to like that post I think Bellingham is rotten. There’s a reason you’re in a small minority.
Some people just don’t get football.
@Big Yaya Wilko 12 liking your post confirms it.
If that article is correct it's not a huge surprise his bestie is Alexander-Arnold another one with a massively over inflated opinion of himself. Also another who is seemingly not a great team player given he appeared to be taking the piss out of one of his teammates re. penalties at one stage of the tournament.
As for the whole joining the leadership team, what an absolute joke, plenty of faux leadership qualities on display for the cameras but in reality not even a team player let alone a leader. This whole hot-housing approach that has been taken to his career is, at least at one level, doing him no favours at all. No idea if it's too late for him or those around him to try and ground him a bit more, hope not.
What have you read pal?According to reports, a lot of English players can't stand him and the Dortmund dressing room was glad to get rid of him. It's not just on here.
Yep but this might prove some of the players don't much care for Bellingham
Foden didn’t press as much as Bellingham? Absolute fucking nonsenseDon't much care for the arrogant Bellingham but He has a point Kane lazy fuck did no pressing jogged around like a 50 year old foden pressed a bit but not as much as bellingham Big problem was Kane and when anyone did press it wasn't as a team
Page 210 of this thread is very revealing. What have you read pal?
I think the Athletic [spits] article actually makes a good point that most of these players came up with each other through the youth ranks, winning and losing international (and club) competitions all the way up, gaining a rapport, understanding, seeing each other’s successes and failures, and actually supporting each other (or not) through various events common to a footballers life. That helped to not only create understanding but also served to actually identify those in the group that could be counted on during moments of adversity or times were extra effort was needed, both on and off the pitch.Total madness to add any 21 year old to a 'leadership team'. It's got to be the senior players, who have been through shit and are mature. Especially not an overgrown 'me' baby.
Feels like Steven Gerrard all over againDefinite problem for the next manager - flew into a few tackles this tournament that weren't far off being reckless. The whole shape of the team has been sacrificed for him - doesn't justify that at all
Yep, although even Gerrard had a bit more to back it up. Whilst it was often misplaced, Gerrard definitely put the yards in too. Bellingham strolls around most of the timeFeels like Steven Gerrard all over again
Foden didn’t press as much as Bellingham? Absolute fucking nonsense
