Depends how you drink it I suppose. The actual coffee isn't pleasant on its own, but with milk, it's just about drinkable. As straight espresso/filter it really is low quality and nasty.I like their coffee.

I remember when they first came out in the UK, I used to spend a couple of weeks every summer in London with a friend. His mother would take us to one of the two and they were the best burgers I’d ever eaten, along with the best milkshakes. They have gone down hill since those early days which were definitely not about cheap junk food.
It's nothing to do with being snooty, the food is just bloody crap. The bread rolls are cheap and the burgers are cheaper. You go in a pub and burgers are all loads better. Go to an independed fast food place and the burgers are better. They offer this shite because most of their customers don't think about what they are eating.
McDonalds not doing too well at the moment. Blaming it on inflation.
Always been about profit margins over quality.
Did it hurt having your taste buds removed? ;)Many millions clearly enjoy the taste of McDonald’s - yes it’s all unhealthy shite but the taste is good.
I’ve noticed a drop in quality whether it’s my tastebuds changing or they are using cheaper potato’s/meat and cooking differently but upto a few years ago I would enjoy a Big Mac meal just as much as any pub burger. If not more.
Stop talking crap.Rather eat dog shit………
The lowest 'quality' they can get away with. What is the 'quality' you're talking about?
McPukes is the most rancid shite that humans eat!
Hard agree. It’s fucking awful. They do a decent job with their marketing campaign for their coffee, but it really is SHITE.
Ah, the ‘bender Brunch’Hard agree. It’s fucking awful.
Back to the main point of the thread, I’m not mourning for McDs and can’t remember the last time I ate it. Probably have it once a year, usually on some kind of road trip where’s there’s simply nothing else available. All the big burger chains have gone to shit and have lost out to smaller, more regional players who can point to not being big, favour-scale, monoliths, even if their food is often not that much better.
Nothing beats the old Wimpy on Market Street ;)
Can’t stand Subway ! Jersey Mike’s are pretty decentDepends on the outlet. Some a lot better than others.
I don't like McDonald's food mostly - even though my local McDonald's is pretty good.
For fast food, my go-to by far and away is Taco del Mar.
Subways is pretty good too - of course some locations are full of fruit flies and lazy workers that I'd avoid like the plague.
Dairy Queen - at least where I live (Seattle suburbs) - is really good.
Not been but there is still a Wimpy in HuddersfieldHard agree. It’s fucking awful.

Is there actually any basis to McDonald's supposedly 'struggling'. It's always busy from what I've seen.
And they'll bounce back, fill yer boots.only the share price dropping due to the latest E Coli outbreak.
WW.....Nothing beats the old Wimpy on Market Street ;)
Jeeze, really?? You must eat in some real rough pubs. If you came to mine for a barbecue I would be ashamed to serve you shite like McDonalds but each to their own I suppose. Many millions clearly enjoy the taste of McDonald’s - yes it’s all unhealthy shite but the taste is good.
