Starting to think that despite City’s briefings to the contrary the 115 are having an impact on recruitment, certainly in January. Why move in January when you could be joining a club about to relegated.

When Rodri got injured we should have locked in a midfielder. Looks like the main targets are missed and we know how badly second choices go. Unless we add a proper DM we won’t make top 4.

People need to understand that 99% of what he posts is him as a fan just commenting on stuff around the club. Occasionally he will be told something that he will post in good faith, but absolutely nothing should be taken as gospel. Not sure how people haven't understood this by now

That isn't how he presents himself at all and it's incredibly bad faith to pretend that he does. He presents himself as a guy with inside info who should be listened to. He has described himself as a journalist on several occasions - that's not the language of someone who is just commenting as a fan. Aware I will invite plenty of criticism for badmouthing him as he has plenty of fans but the way I see it he's taking the fanbase for a ride, apparently for no reason other than he enjoys it.

His twitter bio is literally "Occasionally right, occasionally wrong, occasionally 'informed' opinion and Blue."

He IS a journalist. His track record IS proof that he has got nuggets of "Inside info" pretty consistently over the years. Like any other journalist he knows only what he is told.

His track record also shows that he is pretty far away from being the most reliable in getting fed info on how far along transfers are. But it is completely relatable that a City fan with connections gets giddy if he hears good news. His threads on here over the years has been great fun, and will hopefully continue. But people should be smart enough to seek out what they are 100% confident in themselves.
