What is it with them and corners? They're either constantly turning them or conceding from them.
Alot of teams are doing the corner routine that swings the ball really close to the goalmouth, no thanks to Arsenal, and United seems to be suffering from it.

Notice how Son scores a miraculous corner goal just a few days back before Cunha scores an exact replica.

United's way of defending corners seem to be putting one man to protect Onana, putting himself at armslength from other defenders, but Onana seems to be doing nothing with that protection.

It has taken United fans a long time for reality to sink in. The players they have now are the worst squad they have had since Ferguson retired. A flukey Derby win can’t hide that truth.
Once again they've flipped the blame narrative just like they always do.

With every new manager the narrative is "we've got a decent manager but shit players"

Then once that manager proves to be yet another failure they flip it to "we've got decent players but a shit manager"

Their pride and egos never allow them to admit that both their manager and players are shit.

Funnily enough as you posted that, I'm just watching MOTD and Joe Hart is pointing out how poor Onana is at dominating his 6-yard box. He's right but it was something that he was also guilty of.

They will never change , they’re that used to the press and tv , ex players from 20-50 years ago blowing smoke up there arses that they’re blind to it , they blame everyone , players , managers , the fucking works cat. That’s there biggest problem , and it’s as strong today as it was 12 years ago. They believe laughably , that they’re the biggest club in the world. The propaganda is really hitting home now - in a negative way they never thought possible, they’re that fucking deluded it’s comical. Every player they buy must be “world class “ because they signed for United didn’t they , all caught up in the Ferguson/ class of 92 / biggest club in the world hype. It’s not the manager , or the players , it’s the complete bullshit that surrounds the whole club.

Mannoo is a classic example of how they and the rag media destroy young players.played maybe a dozen games before I'd ever heard of him, next he's an England player.
He's no more than a good young prospect who's been gaslit.
Bet if you look a his bank account he's already made it.
If he's any dreams of being a top player he should leave, they would never allow it, so will pay him a fortune, they destroy them before they've made it.
Same is happening now with Ahmed.
More fuel for the msm.
Rinse and repeat.

Generational talent according to one dosy rag fu*ker I spoke to last season when he got called up.

I looked at Mainoo on Transfermarkt, as I was curious as to what his win rate was. I counted he’s played 36 games and won 14 in the league.

That is distinctly mid table form for the new wonderkid.

It’s 4 wins from 12 this season - again, very average.

Isnt it wonderful.
They genuinely don't have a single player another team would want to sign.
After wasting a billion they've been left with nothing.
Haha
A red I know has said the exact same thing to me. They can't offload their dross and have limited money to invest. Could well be bollocks'd this lot now.

Put £10 stake on the 27th oct for them to be relegated, would win£1,575, checked today cash out gone up 42p to £1.68, happy days.
That"s cracking. I imagine the PL would launch "Operation Bailout" if there was any chance. Here's hoping though.

After the last four seasons, I wouldn’t mind if we miss out on Europe altogether next season, provided we are able to celebrate St Beneathus Day.

It would give the players some much needed rest next term.
It might just be the best St Beneathus Day ever.
BTW, it's strange, but I had the very same thought this morning. 7th to 10th would keep us grounded, while we let Pep and the boys in suits spin their webs and work some magic for the next go round.....where we'll have a terrific, although probably not as early, celebration of the good Saint's day.

Yet another new dawn has bitten the dust...........

The hard facts are United have taken 19 points in their last 16 premier league games.

They won their last two games of last season against two teams (Brighton and Newcastle) who had hit the wall after a long season and who had nothing left in the tank.

If you ignore those last two games of last season then United have taken 13 points from their last 14 games.

That is relegation form.

It gets worse. 6 of those points came from home games against Sheff Utd (poss the worst PL team ever - but who managed to lead 0-1 and 1-2 before losing 4-2) and a miserable toothless Everton team.

This is all because United have got the worst midfield in the PL - they have no control of possession and will struggle to dominate any team this season.

There is no quick fix for this situation. If ETH stays then I reckon United will finish below halfway with well less than 50 points.

FWIW I think ETH will stay mainly because INEOS cannot sack him after backing him publicly with a huge transfer budget - sacking ETH would make INEOS look more clueless and incompetent than the previous regime, so they can't/won't do it.
Blowing my own trumpet here - posted this early September. Before the season started I put £30 on at 250/1 for them to be relegated.

I think ultimately it will be a loser (just) but I am getting a great run for my money.

I can't see them doing much in the January window - they haven't got much of a transfer budget and will struggle to raise money for a transfer kitty.

They will struggle to sell players because no-one will want to take them with the salaries they want. Conversely, selling clubs can ask for inflated prices for players because they know United are desperate.

Add to that, who in their right mind would want to move to United given their current state.

INEOS are clowns, for the last few years everything they touch turns to shit.

United were shit already, they didn't need to touch it.
