Well it was a rag player that was involved, so that would be the reason aspect resolved.

The powers that be have simply proved that their own system is seriously fucking flawed after hyping the benefits of VAR intervention.

Oh and the game is fucked in order to help the sinking ship , which is actually beyond help, a fault of their own making!
....a penalty awarded after the final whistle and when some players had left the pitch !!

Corruption in plain sight.

Brilliant

It has now been 11-12 years since Ferguson left and the abject regression of ‘this is manshester nytid’ became a never ending pattern of 1 step toward, 2 or more steps back.

The seeds were sown with the Glazer takeover, the shoots of disaster started poking through with Woodward and moyes, and have fully sprouted with the continuing scattergun over the odds player purchases, and the incessant watering by repeating the ‘istree mantra.

The final chop will be relegation, and complete demise - a fitting end and tribute to agent Omar’s project 2028 plan.

The glazers can’t sell, it’s an asset that can only be squeezed so much, and becomes less and less attractive with each passing year. Nobody would touch them with a barge pole. They will do a Rangers to survive, and they’ll get away with it

It’s not PGMOL that rescind it, it goes to a 3 man FA tribunal made up of ex players and refs, a bit like our 115 panel.

They only other time I can think of that it’s been successful was MacAllister last season, but there may have been a few others.

That's weird. I wonder why it goes to the FA and not a PL tribunal. Especially when the PL has various levels of review itself including an "independent" key incidents review panel. To interject an FA panel in the middle seems strange.

Pre-VAR rules not updated for current realities, maybe.

Also, I wonder how former referees have any idea of the refereeing guidelines being applied currently by PGMOL, or any UEFA guidelines that PGMOL (apparently since the Martinez "tackle" last week) have to comply with currently?

Or is it just PGMOL explaining whether the referee/ VAR decision was correct or not and the panel nodding wisely. In which case why are the FA involved at all, and what is the point of the KIR panel?

So many questions :)

This is what I am getting at, surely if the Rags can successfully appeal an on field decision that is backed up by VAR, it then must open up the possibility of Palace in this instance appealing the decision not to award a red. And seek a retrospective Red card.

The PL are no longer fit for purpose (they haven't been for a long time), every week they find another way of proving their incompetenece.

Hopefully their legal team are just as incompetent :)
Did you mean to type incompetence?

I'd have gone with blatant cheating myself
