The club and us fans can have whatever opinion we want about how guilty or innocent we are. In the end of the day, if we really are guilty or innocent is more or less irrelevant. What matters is what those who determine the verdict think, believe and how they interpret the "evidence".

One would have some incredible (and naive) belief in the justice system to believe that the ones found guilty always did the crime or that the ones found innocent always was in fact innocent. We are on trial so of course there is always a risk of a negative outcome regardless of how confident the club are of their innocence. It's not the club that decides the verdict.

With that said, it's of course positive that the club seems certain of a positive outcome, that indicates that they themselves are sure they have not done anything wrong. Lets hope this "independent commission" agree!

It is not a criminal court and we are not on trial, no matter how much the media play it up. An independent panel of Judges is a different kettle of fish to a jury. We should not be complacent but this situation is very different to our flawed criminal justice system.

All contracts have to end June 30th, so the 1/2 is irrelevant.

Why 9 years not 10? No idea, but we have seen a fewf 9 year deals and no one's ever gone to 10.
