Your not though, are you?
Not really, no. Tediously predictable.

It makes me smile when people post that he can’t do X because of the Constitution, when it’s clear for anyone to see that he has the means to recalibrate at least some of it to his will, even though the legislative burden is so high. If the Supreme Court can give him carte blanche to commit murder in the course of his duties why can’t they reinterpret the Constitution in relation to the 22nd amendment dishonestly? Anyone who thinks they wouldn’t countenance such a move, hasn’t been paying attention.

I can see a scenario where the 22nd amendment is reimagined by SCOTUS to relate to two consecutive terms. I mean it wasn’t even a thing for the first 160 years of the nation’s lifespan, so I’m sure the ‘intention’ of the founding fathers can somehow be morphed accordingly.

I keep reading 'it will never happen because x.y.z' on Twitter, yet how quickly people have forgotten the political norms that were smashed time and again during his first term.

And this time he’s further emboldened due to a number of factors. It’s actually unreal that he’s been given this opportunity. It’s genuinely insane.

It really is. Some of the executive orders that have been signed in the past couple of days are pretty spiteful to say the least, but, I suppose when you're President, they let you do it...

What is mad is that the reason Biden dished out all those pardons in his last hours is being fully justified by Trump's rhetoric on a potential investigation and prosecution of Biden himself.

"They investigated us (for actual crimes) so we're gonna investigate them (for some made up bullshit), and we'll see how they like it".
Yeah even the pardon where he let out a violent drug dealer that is a convicted murderer. One of his victims was an 8 year old kid. That one??

Or how about the guy he let out who gunned down two federal agents. You mean that one??

It will be interesting to see where we are when the Olympics roll around in a few years and indeed the World Cup to a lesser extent, these attacks on the LGTB etc people could escalate in the coming years as rhetoric builds, be nice if countries felt that the USA was going backwards they’d boycott the games.
Well since the World Cup was held in Qatar I think the low bar was already set. When England hosted the tournament homosexuality was a crime.

It’s funny Trump appoints a gay man to the highest cabinet post ever. So I guess he hates gays then. I didn’t know Bessent was a gay man until today. Contrast that to the appointments of Pete Buttigieg and KJP, which were lauded just because of their sexuality.

This guy either has the spine of a jellyfish or he didn’t really believe he has to tick those boxes so openly. Probably a little of both.

Or he's the head of a multibillion dollar corporation and isn't personally sat there reviewing website copy with a red pen nor really gives a shit what his marketing department decide is the best course of action in terms of specific phrasing of support?

Wait until Trump finds out he’s gay! And we’ve moved on since 1966, seems you’re going back there.

I always knew Elon was an antisemite.
Sounds like something the Black American civil rights activists might have come up with in the 50-60’s.
It does, doesn't it? Those were a people who actually wanted EQUAL rights.

Nowadays what we have are people who want special rights. But they pretend the special rights they want are really just equal rights but they aren't.

" The only remedy to past discrimination, os present discrimination."
Ibrahim X Kendi :)

Two things Dax.
1. I don’t know if Musk is Anti-Semite or not, I doubt personally that it’s anything to do with Jewishness or Judaism. I do however believe what he did at the inauguration was deliberate and designed to embolden those of a certain, let us say,, philosophy, for want of a better word.
He’s another guy I just don’t like. Can’t quite put my finger on it but I couldn’t see him fitting with me and my mates down the local.
2.Regarding my civil rights comment, just to be clear. I wouldn’t like you to get the wrong impression. The angle or tone of my reply to you is that, in 50-60s America, I would imagine those taking exception to the idea of equal rights, were the very people who were very happy with the inequality. i.e. the mainly southern states white majority.

He is almost certainly on the spectrum. There is no way he isnt mildly autistic. So the thing you probably cant put a finger on about him is that he is odd... Of course you wouldn't wanna share a beer with him... He is awkward.

Yeah, i understood it clearly. :)

Not much comfort I know, but this is nothing to worry about as Amazon already threads all employees like subhuman slaves regardless of race, gender or sexual orientation so no change.
