If he leaves Nico on and he gets a second yellow, this thread would be asking why Kovacic didn't come on. Nunes was awful today and Rico didn't put a foot wrong.

I think its always good to reflect, that if all the attacking players seem bad, then probably the coach is at fault.
I think Pep was too passive, at best this game could have been a draw.
Yes the subs killed us.
But besides that, we lacked the will to actually try to score. Doku and Savinho werent great, but had no support due to no runners.
Gvardiol is better wider, with freedom to attack more, but he doesnt have that in the back 3.
Bernie is not a RW.

Not true. We have a pretty decent sample at this point in seeing what happens when kovacic is brought in in these situations. It very rarely ends well. The risk is now worth keeping Nico on when he has a yellow. It’s that simple

He's had another shocker in a season full of them. No sign that he can arrest the slide. His stubbornness will insure that. Awful watch again. His assistants are all yes men or surely some of them would question his descent into madness.

He’s been phoning it in all season.
He should really have just left at the end of this season rather than signing that new contract, because his heart isn’t it it anymore.
Everytime we go more direct and win he immediately changes it and goes back to the slow rubbish and we lose, every single bloody time, Chelsea, Newcastle, and Spuds, we won those games by being more direct but he just never sticks with it and has to get Bernie back in who is the king of the slow rubbish and we obviously look crap and lose.
Are you seriously telling me this slow passing style football doesn't come from him ? get real mate.

He reached the top of Everest with us. The only way was down after that.
But then hindsight is a wonderful thing.
His subs have been off all season and his picking of players who are now clearly not doing it anymore is now starting to piss me off . Love pep and he has been the greatest manager we have ever had but I wouldn’t be gutted if he chose to leave end of the season .

That brilliant Ederson save was result of Rico being nowhere to be seen, more a system thing maybe but also because he lacks the attributes to play as an out and out RB. Also pulled out of tackle about 30 second after coming on which resulted in chance for them to. He might not "put a foot wrong" but he undoubtedly makes us a worse team with all the catering that needs to be done to accommodate him(Bernie providing width and Khusa playing CB and RB) for what is essentially a couple % extra possession he possibly offers.

Have you ever considered.. he lined us correctly for a draw on the road with a team that's better than us at the moment?
His 1 mistake is his trust in Kovacic.
Kova comes on to shut down shop but we become wide open defensively.. Who could have foreseen that?
I understood Nico's substitution but seriously you could & should trust Nico O'Reilly ahead of him at this point!

Titles are won by good defense and away 1-0 or 0-0 draws. We were surviving just fine till that Kova change!
I agree mate, but 6 titles and a treble has bought him this season.
I do think if he doesn't adapt next season and we have some of the inconsistencies we have seen this season, the questions will get asked.

If we havent picked up by March next year he is done. For me it is that simple.
He needs better personnel than he currently has, and also take into account we often start slow especially with new players.
Most competent managers would show him up currently because there is enough tools in this squad to not be as shite as this.
But no other manager can do what he does at his best
