You know, thinking about it there are two footballers I really actively cannot stand.... Jude Bellingham and Jamie Vardy. There are some I sort of dislike but these two make me want to puke.

I've seen this exact incident reposted several times on social media. It's very different to the usual clips you see when he's done a half decent bit of skill in a nowhere area of the pitch that gets lauded as if its some godly act he's just committed. The temperature on him will turn real quickly if he allows more shit like that to happen in games.

Be less concerned about what looks good/iconic for the cameras and concentrate more on what's good for your team would be my message to him. Not that he'll give a shit.

Probably too late for him now. It's in his personality, he'll never change from the spoilt brat he is now because he'll always know best and nobody is big enough to tell him straight.
As a kid you got walloped around the ear if you had too much to say to your mum or dad, fuck - when I was young even a policeman could give you a back hander for coming over all Billy Big-Time. But you learned how to behave and you learned to treat others with respect. People just change their minds every week. He will score 2 goals next week and RM fans will be happy.

I think the sometimes excessive criticism comes as a direct push back against the pretty gross overhyping of him that's gone on since he started doing well at Dortmund, and certainly has ramped up exponentially since the Madrid move and all the Zidane noise started.

He is good player with some high quality attributes and a lot of flaws. But it's harder to judge him objectively because of the hype train around him. That's not all his fault but he's got a lot of maturing to do still, no matter how much his well spoken interviews convince the Bellingham lovers that he's mature so far beyond his years it's crazy.

Exactly - he is not good enough to act as stupidly as he does. His pathetic, classless antics have received more attention than his football this season. Haaland could get away with being a twat if he wanted to but he is fundamentally a decent guy. I was a bit disappointed when we were not really in the mix to sign Bellingham but now I am glad as it would be hard to support him if he was as classless in a City shirt as he is in a Madrid one.
