PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

You can't be serious - it's 5 months after concluding arguments. The Blind Pugh could see that if we'd been nailed the PL client media would have been screaming it from the rooftops the day after the panel rose. We wouldn't now be hyperactive in the transfer market again after spending big in January attracting an elite player on a long term contract and extending Haaland to 10 years. Just wouldn't be happening if the board were found to have intentionally falsified our financial position for 9 years to break FFP rules.

The parties have to agree the publication date and no doubt also have the opportunity to go back for clarification before that happens - that's clearly what happening now with the redshirt cartel stringing it out as long as they can before doomsday. Cheats and liars exposed to all - tick tock!
This is my feeling too.
However, City have said that they will not be taking a hit like they did with UEFA, so the PL have little/no wiggle room to cut a deal.

If we win, we don't want to complain about the PL and destroy it. We need to be only be complaining about the forensic analysis of our accounts and workings, and that other clubs are not examined to the same extent.

We need to be shouting that we are the most examined club ever, with nothing wrong found, and that other clubs have not been looked at.

We need to change the narrative so that questions start being asked of other clubs.
Why have Chelsea not been examined yet even though they have admitted that there was dodgy dealings before the yanks took over the club. We were told they would be bang to rights, nothing has happened with regards to an investigation.

If and when we are cleared, all I want is for the club to put a marker down saying no more enquiries no more investigations nothing nada and followed up by highlighting those behind this smear campaign, not masters and co who are just the front for who’s pulling the strings..

They're probably a bit busy with this one at the moment

I would imagine both sets of lawyers will offer their clients some confidence. And both parties will feel a level of belief they have strong grounds for a verdict in their favour.

Having re-read your previous post, I get what you are saying, it was more the context of the discussion my response is to.

I like the way the club have gone about it, and seeing their unimpeded actions. But not using that to take anything for granted and certainly not as proof of them 'knowing' anything. In the exact same way I didn't take last summer's decisions in what was a poor transfer market, or our mid season dip in form, or pep's facial scratches, to mean we knew we were fucked.

As you say, we will know when we know. And what we believed till then will be good to share but ultimately will matter little.
Any idea why Pep said March?

City's trial is over though, the tribunal ended proceedings in December. We haven't heard a peep out of the Premier League about Chelsea, we have about Leicester not about Chelsea.
The Chelsea thing is extremely dodgy, admitted breaking rules under abramovich, seemingly on an industrial scale, bent rules for length of contracts, sold hotels and women’s teams to themselves….nothing to see here, move along.

It would be more of a shock to the Club's Executive if the decision did go against us.

There has always been supreme confidence, even behind the scenes, simply because we have provided concrete evidence to all the questions.

I stopped worrying about it ages ago and expect it to drop when I can't spend my day giving it back to thousands of these twunts.

It's such a bodywork of evidence to process and write-up, thousands of pages to make legible for the masses.

Must be a massive operation. I'm certain Khaldoon has already had the debrief from Pannick and we should all be celebrating in the coming days.
