I’m not saying he’s shit, or that there’s no need at all to refresh at CB - just that given the outlay we’ll be committing to cover two full backs, two or potentially even three midfielders and in all likelihood a keeper as well - spending £70m on another CB when we’ve got nine already is unlikely to be seen as a priority.

I would give Doyle a chance down low in the rotation. Then Mfuni is coming through as well.So how this works tactically?

Yes Stones, Ake and Akanji`s age adds up to over 90 they are all past their best and injury prone, but you can not just kick them out. the three CB signed in january adds up to under 60 none of them have enough experience.30 years ?

You did see i want a LB and have done for years, Cancelo and Zinchenko doing great jobs for us, but all the others rubbish, as for RB i think Nunes is getting better and better at the job, so if we buy a RB we will end up paying a wage to a midfielder we can not use.
