PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

There was an academic study done on this that Gary James linked to on here a while back: https://publika.skema.edu/sport-soft-power-ranking/

UAE not even in the top 20 (so even lower than united were in the league).

Top 5 - USA, UK, France, China, Germany. UAE were 21st.
The UAE is also nowhere near the top of the table for human rights abuse. Not even in the the top 50 worst countries last time I looked at the Amnesty Index. And below USA, China, and Russia for starters. The entire sportswashing narrative is totally fake.

Completely and utterly fake. Well said.

100% if people believe when we are cleared of all charges the msn will suddenly start being nice about us they are seriously nieve. It might not be quite as vitriolic as it has been over the last 2 years, but we will still get shit thrown at us. People will still be lining up to spout lies and slag us off.
It will continue as long as the organised smear campaign against us from LFC, AFC, MUFC, and Spurs continues. Perhaps one day someone in the press will tell the full dirty tricks story. Then again pigs might fly.

There's a difference between what the media say and how a player who might want to join us thinks a judgement could affect his career though.

Khaldoon could and might say it when cleared but they'll just say being a bitter blue

I really hope City go on the attack after the result. Khaldoon has made it clear we have been victims of “an organised and clear” campaign. We need to clear our name. What has happened has been corruption in plain sight. It has to be called out. Martin Samuel knows where all the bodies are buried for starters.

Compare and contrast how often you hear mention of the transfer fee for Enzo Fernandez, Declan Rice or Moises Caicedo, compared to:
"Man's City's £100 MILLION flop Jack Grealish", you never hear his name without his price, with the others you almost never hear their price with their name. It'll be the same for Wirtz....

It is going to be more for Wirtz

RTE's Chief Soccer Reporter, Tony O'Donoghue did a five minute hatchet job of a report on City's finamcial trials and tribulations in the build up to the 2023 final.
Not a word about plucky little Inter having run foul of UEFA themselves, only the usual City bingo card bullshit.
