Do you remember our end in the 2011 FA Cup semifinal and final? It was throbbing with City fans for both games, hundreds (if not more) jibbed in.Scouse behaviour

I had a ticket, don't remember blues jibbingDo you remember our end in the 2011 FA Cup semifinal and final? It was throbbing with City fans for both games, hundreds (if not more) jibbed in.
If you don’t like Oasis that’s fine. But millions of people love them and that’s fine, too.It is believe me
Seen Oasis in their prime (sun maine rd) went knebworth which I found a bit underwhelming, brilliant at the etihad, I just find the support acts a bit “weak” this time?
Richard Ashcroft is very good, loved the verve, but cast? never got them on liams tour & didn’t think they were all that? each to their own obv, but oasis at Maine road was epic & a a lot of that was down to ocean colour scene & the manics, & knebworth was totally smashed by the prodigy, these support acts are weak in comparisonCast and Richard Ashcroft weak ?!
Two of my favourites ever.
I remember it and no they didntDo you remember our end in the 2011 FA Cup semifinal and final? It was throbbing with City fans for both games, hundreds (if not more) jibbed in.

We did the Saturday at Loch Lomond instead. It was the day before my 19th birthday. I thought Knebworth would be too big and a pain to get to and from.Shame you didn’t make it to Knebworth. That was the best of all in my opinion (others are free to disagree)
I think you're missing the point. Joy Division represeted bleakness, New Order represented a new future.
Oasis represent proper Rock and Roll. Timeless.

They blatantly are.Oasis are not even in the top 30 British acts for worldwide record sales. They're nowhere near one of the biggest bands in the world ever.

In terms of ticket sales and blatantly how many more millions they could have sold if they’d played more gigs. It has to be up there with anything this country has seen in terms of demand for tickets. Usually for big gigs you can pick tickets up easy enough on the day. These were still going for £500 just before they entered the stageBeatlemania was more of a teenage girl thing. But it did happen all over the country everytime they played.
Comparing Oasis reforming and selling out a few stadiums to The Beatles isn't really the same.
Plus being on here might weight your opinion slightly!
My missus said Cardiff was like an out of body experience. Biblical. She's a big fan and was in the 90's. Was buzzing for days after. Still is now. Watching all the clips over and over. Obsessed!
None of my other close mates or family could give a flying fuck about Oasis. Then or now. Average band at best. If you break them down...singing? Not really singing is it, more of a whine. Competent guitar work. Same goes for the drums.
But I can understand the euphoria surrounding two Manchester born City supporting lads who made it big. That era of UK music passed me by as I was abroad for most of the 90's and they didn't really go global in the way they hit the heights in the UK.
Still...although I don't 'get' their music, I can understand how other people do.
34th according to that list but obviously you know better. They blatantly are.

I’d argue the opposite to be honest and say they are very much of their time. I don’t mean that as a criticism though.
Loads stormed the gates at Brighton too. I seen and old couple get absolutely flattened, the bloke looked on a bad way. It was absolutely terrible. Myth that it’s just scousers that do that sort of shit.Do you remember our end in the 2011 FA Cup semifinal and final? I meant as a live band. Record sales aren’t really much to go on because people pretty much stopped buying records in the 90’s. Oasis have been the biggest band in terms of catching the mood of the country in many years. They did it in the 90’s and have just done it again. Probably the biggest band to come out of England this century (Coldplay aside) are the Arctic Monkeys yet i bet their record sales are pretty low34th according to that list but obviously you know better.
I think their attitude and persona was of that time. You don't really get lad culture anymore.I’d argue the opposite to be honest and say they are very much of their time. I don’t mean that as a criticism though.
