Oasis reunion

Chill out Bimbo, they broke all attendance records at the time and was a big deal. It’s all I’m saying, you wouldn’t steam up to me in a boozer going nuts over an opinion so calm yourself.

I’ll bow to your greater knowledge

Been in town today. Great atmosphere. Even later on after everybody had gone to the park it was rammed with Oasis fans. Probably loads staying in the city centre tonight for tomorrow nights gig

I enjoyed it, not a massive Oaais fan but getting tickets was enough to get my Aussie daughter over and it was a good night. The ostrich pub facing Heaton park also put on a decent day, very impressed.

Not sure about Oasis, but I’d be amazed if they didn’t bring back summer concerts to the stadium. The club benefit financially don’t they? Spurs seem to make a fortune from non-football at their place.

Concerts are definitely coming back next Summer. That's what I was told. I didn't ask which band or artist as I don't fish. It was part of a general conversation about the Etihad expansion.

Got the shuttle bus tickets for today and curious to know people’s experiences using the bus to get there?

I’ve seen huge queues for these but do they move quickly / smoothly , or should I just get an Uber there and save the hassle?

Brilliant.

Don't leave it too late as the queues will get bigger.

I got the bus from Lever Street about 4:30pm.

A steward checked my Bee Network App and gave me a yellow wrist band. I queued up for 10 minutes. We were counted on to the bus. I was the last one on the bus. It was full but not overcrowded. The journey took about 25 minutes. Traffic depending. The bus lanes made the journey faster. The bus stopped inside Heaton Park close to the metal barriers that lead to the concert area. Coming back the queues were much longer, but they were constantly moving. Buses were lined up. Once a bus was full it left. It took about 15 minutes to get back to the Shudehill Interchange.

It was really well organised. And made getting to and from Heaton Park very easy.

Enjoy the concert. I did. :-)

Fuck me what a gig. Incredible.

And well done to everyone involved. Quick to get in, quick bar service, clean toilets and loads of them, brilliant sound, all round the best organised ‘festival’ type show I’ve ever been to.

Hungover to fuck now clinging onto a bottle of lucozade for dear life but well worth it!
