“Coolness”& music wise def not, can’t stand Coldplay but you can’t deny they’re a “massive” band, they sell out huge stadiums “all around the world” ;)Sorry, but they're not even in the same conversation.
Is there any credence to these rumours about oasis playing at the etihad next year?

Coldplay complete with shiny trousers and glitter “backing band” for LiamThis Coldplay v Oasis ive worked it out as my lad went to both.
Coldplay he was allowed to take in a 500ml bottle of water
Oasis he wasn't allowed to in a 500ml bottle of water.
I guess Wembley must think Oasis fans are more lively, whereas the Coldplay fans are well mannered mid class people lol ;)

Im a massive Puressence fan but I can't see how they are far ahead of Oasis for tunes and creativity. Oasis are better live. The one thing that Puressence have is James' voice. There is nothing groundbreaking about the music.Ticket sales are irrelevant IMO, like comparing the best selling newspapers (The Sun/Mirror/Mail)
Coldplay supported Shack in the late 90s.
Oasis couldn't get a support slot with Puressence in the early 90s until their lucky break with McGee.
Both Shack & Puressence are miles ahead of those in terms of tunes and creativity - just my opinion. I'd rather watch football in stadiums than music - each to their own.
