PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

There is no real scenario though. We would always see the final decision (or award as it is known). The only way we wouldn't see reasons is if the parties had agreed at the outset that they didn't want reasons from the Commission. In the circumstances, this was/is impossible. So there is no route to secrecy under rule W.

The rules expressly state "final awards of any Commission, Interim Commission or Appeal Board shall be confirmed publicly and published on the League’s website"
Way of the world
Corrupt, dodgy deals
Most get sorted at a fancy restaurant table or golf course

Was there a long answer?

Well, yes there was, but I in no way endorse it, of course:

"Longer answer:
  • The Premier League’s 115-charges case against Manchester City is being handled under strict confidentiality rules.
  • Only a very small circle — City’s legal team, the Premier League's legal team, independent commission members, and perhaps a few senior executives — would know real inside details.
  • Leaks would carry major legal consequences for the people involved.
  • Fan forums (Bluemoon, Twitter/X, Reddit, etc.) are full of speculation but not credible inside information on this case.
So unless @slbsn is secretly:
  • a QC (sic!) on the case,
  • a senior Premier League official,
  • a City legal counsel,
  • or someone under strict legal NDA…
…the “chances” they know anything meaningful are realistically:
Rounded to 0%

Fans can guess, journalists can speculate, but no forum poster is getting briefed on a confidential tribunal."

Yes I’ll have to work much harder to prove my bona fides. Deary me

Far be it for me to get involved but the only substantial input from @slbsn on this thread has been to squash claims from others that they do have inside information. He's been consitent that he doesn't know the outcome and neither does anyone else.

It is D debatable
It is I intriguing
It is S still on the table
It could be C confidential
It is O, O O
Don't be starting with the Isco shit again

That’s if you dont consider links to his substack content in which he goes into great detail about every aspect of 115.

Why do you think that Stefan…..couldn’t it be tomorrow or Thursday or Friday.
With all due respect if NOBODY KNOWS,why are you discounting the rest of this week.
My feeling is that it is just not likely in the run up to a game like Liverpool with a 2 week break so close. So whilst the parties may have the decision (I have no idea either way), I think the break is much more likely

Yes, and very interesting it is too. Not sure what your point it though. This thread is having a very silly day.
Just saying—if you take into account his 115 episodes of content on numerous podcasts, on talkSPORT, his run-ins with the zealot Harris (aka MagicHat), his X posts, Substack, and BM content, then he has done his utmost to inform us and even the hordes who are dead set against us.

I just hope that in the next week or two I’ll read my last Stefan post (no offence). I want to get back to football, but I want to thank him for his efforts. Imagine the last few years without him.
