Brilliant.

When I think about it, has it actually even been confirmed we have bid for him?
I just remember a lot of media saying according to their sources but I haven’t officially heard a confirmation or a denial from the club.

I haven't seen anything official either.

Meanwhile, the dippers have got the open top bus ready with the "We got £50 million off City for Sterling" banner. I've heard it's going to be a bigger parade than their April 2014 title celebrations.......
bingo ,this is the whole crux of the matter, mcfc are buying liverpools biggest asset, its a defining moment in the status of the two clubs, they can claim some kind of victory if we pay the 50 mill, but its bullshit propaganda to appease what is still a huge fanbase,,so lets just "take the pinch "and smile ,because we know that they know what the reality is ,onwards and upwards mcfc

Needs too hurry up if its happening, wonder if the whole saga will end up being like the one with mangala last season

I agree, although Mangala took ages because of third party ownership so was always going to take ages.

Sterling looks to be taking ages because we don't want to pay 50m, but with Liverpool holding firm it does look like we will have to give in.

Liverpool have reportedly sealed a five-year deal for Brazil star Roberto Firmino.

The Hoffenheim ace, also a target of Manchester United, seems set to join Liverpool as a possible replacement for Raheem Sterling.

Brazilian news outlet Globoesporte are reporting that the Reds have agreed a £17.8million deal for him.

The plot thickens...

Spending the money already it would seem..

I don't even believe the date printed in the Star.
