at this point im kind of sure aloffs just likes hearing himself talk he has said the same thing consistently and i dont know why he keeps saying it who is he trying to convince, that is exactly what he said 6 weeks when he was signing a new contract which hasnt happened i hasten to add, he played nearly 50 games last season and has had 2 minor injuries in pre season training which is quite coincedental

Not much new there really, obviously it would be their plan to keep players but when or if money is smacked on the table I'm sure he'll be more willing.

Yes but it won't be 'smacked on the table'. It will be pissed and dicked about, half arsed pretend gonna bid but then not doing then offering significantly lower than we know they will expect, dragged on to the last minute. Then not integrated into the team if he does even end up leaving, back end of Sep before he can play etc etc etc

Hahaha we just seem to be dragging our feet at the minute mate.

richards30....I agree mate.....I've given up trying to understand the direction we taking with these transfers and just sitting back and willing to wait and see what happens....when we look back over the transfer window I'm just hoping the decisions we made during these negotiations didnt cost us....

We and DeBruyne must be waiting on Wolfsburg to sign someone. To me it's the only explanation to dragging this out.

DE BRUYNE GOING NOWHERE'

Wolfsburg sporting director Klaus Allofs insists Kevin de Bruyne will not be leaving the club this summer.

The Belgian has been linked with a move to Manchester City, but Allofs said: "We expect Kevin de Bruyne to be with the team for the Super Cup and afterwards during the season, that’s the plan, to keep our players here.

"That’s not just the case for De Bruyne, but also Ivan Perisic, Bas Dost and Ricardo Rodriguez. These are all players who have been named in speculation."

Could you please give your source?
