Everton are in no position to moan about this though. Who can forget the Lescott saga where we made bids through the proper channels and did so discretely and between the clubs. Everton played it out in the media to firstly turn us into the bad guys and secondly to get the best price possible. Hypocrisy of the highest order from our scouse friends.

Talking of shirt numbers, big rumors going round that Aguero will be changing to 10 once Dzeko's deal is done and dusted.....which has been his club number at all his previous teams. Hope it's not true as my lad has got him on all his shirts!!!

Great news about De Bruyne though, we are going to scare the shit out of defences this year.
 
Just checking, but do we have no foreign spots left for our CL squad? Last season Jovetic was excluded and now he has gone, so does Edin need to leave before we have a CL spot available for KDB? I

Don't think he's pushing DDG out the door, just pretending that he brought in Romero as first choice, so when DDG leaves, the rags will think they're not getting a number 2 GK.

The Valdes thing on the other hand - hilarious. Not sure what went on there, but he said VV refused to play in the u21 league, and then VV posted pictures of him playing in half a dozen of them last season to show he had no problem with it.

I know it's off topic but it winds me up when people add or miss dots for the ellipsis. It's nearly as bad as excessive use of the exclamation mark.

Anyway. De Bruyne will be an excellent addition, giving new variety and the guy loves to shoot! When tika taka fails we need people to just have the balls to have a go
