De Bruyne?

I'm sort of hoping it falls through now. He's not a natural fit in our team. Sterling is far better on the left than the right as it allows him to cut inside more.
If KDB needs persuading to come and is looking at other options then he isn't the right player for us.
We have a good enough squad anyway to compete well in all competitions. We should save the money for a decent right-back and Yaya replacement.

Yeah, it's shit having options isn't it

I'm not sure if it's the length of time it's taking, the not knowing too much about him, our very good start to the season or the very high fee (or a combination of all) but I feel completely nonchalant about whether De Bruyne signs or not. His record speaks for itself and you rarely go wrong buying from Germany but I'm struggling to care about the whole thing. Any one else feeling like this?
Yeah me, i'v said about God knows how many thousand pages back that if he comes he comes if he doesn' he doesn't, i'm past caring, I only want players who are 100% committed to our great club not someone who will be moping about thinking ''I wish I was at Bayern''

Why on earth would you wish that it will fall through now?

The fact he has been so quiet indicates that he wants the move. If he wanted to stay he would have declared his loyalty to Wolfsburg. Aside from the Twitter rumours, everything about this saga indicates he wants the move. Especially the reaction to the awards night.

We need healthy competition in every position. The right hand side as it stands is capable of putting together a run domestically that'll win trophies. KDB coming in means we have two fantastic options who will both bring their own style and capabilities. Make no mistake, as much as I rate Navas and fair fucks to him for his start to the season, KDB will offer that little bit more.
It's a no brainer of a signing when you see how we're set up this year.

As much as people say the fee doesn't matter, surely there has to be a figure at which the club walks away from the table. £50m+ looks too much for a player who has only really had 1-2 decent seasons.

bollocks - KDB has said absolutely nothing either way (apart from being tricked into it by Bild) - as suggested, he will almost certainly have been directed to keep shtum as this goes along - so...

a) He's not said he wants to come to US
b) He's not said he wants to stay at VW Utd
c) He's not said he wants to go to Bayern
d) He's not said he'd go to the Rags or anywhere else FFS

We should be hearing SOMETHING by now. I am a happy clapper but this is getting old. Get on the plane, Kevin or sign your Wolfie extension.

I am having a crisis in confidence this am and the silence is deafening. Don't care what any of you say. I agree with Disco about what has NOT been said though and the stupid hijack rumours doing the rounds. It's infuriating.
