Media bias against City

Ighalo could have had a hatrick by half time? They walked through our midfield at times.

Even the Watford bench looked quite relaxed after 70 mins as it was a stroll in the park for them.

I hate the rag media more than most but I'm sick of papering over the massive cracks and watching shite like Arsenal overtake us.

There manager woould look relaxed in the last minute of a world cup final. He's cool as custard and a bit of a dreamboat..

some clown called Kiam or summat further up the thread.
Look at PSG and Munich teams with similar squads to ours they stroll their leagues.

We let Leicester lead the way and nobody seems concerned.

Of course we have no divine right to win but come on blues.

If you honestly do not think Watford were on top for most of that game I'm concerned.

We looked like conceding everytime they came forward.

If it wasn't for Capoue missing the chance near the end they have won the game.

We have some great players who pull us out of the crap time and time again but please do not tell me we are organised and up there with the best teams in Europe.

As for those who want the Mods to ban me because I have an opinion I think it's pretty sad.

It's a forum...

I do not agree with you, with regards everything you say, but you are quite correct you are entitled to an opinion and should not want to be banned or accused of being a 'rag' which is the default position of many whos own view is challenged. Keep on posting

Never said we were organised and never asked for you to be banned! But I do think you are talking tripe we were never in control of the game but always looked the most dangerous! There chances came from our mistakes we made our chances and more of them! It sounds like you are disappointed with the performance and even given all the facts and stats you cannot let it go! But as you say u are entitled to an opinion!

Yet we had more possession, more shots, more shots on target? Maybe you look at things with a slightly one eyed perspective?

Did you see arsenal get totally outplayed at home of Newcastle yesterday? But that's the sign of champions!

Watford did not control that game , leicester did not control the game and Arsenal did not control the game , but the media have repeated that these teams did control the games so often , even some blues now believe it .If you tell a lie often enough to enough people , does that make it the truth ? Only 3 teams have out played us this season , Spuds (with the help of 2 offside goals) Dippers(with the help of Mangala's own goal) and Stoke , even Juventus beat us twice and we should have won both those games , ive been to over 20 games this season and watched the remainder live on TV or on a stream , and stats of possession, shots missed/blocked , shots on target , corners ,chances , passing accuracy , passes in opposing area , all back up my statement. Perhaps you can tell me how many times Messi has pulled Barca out of the shite over the years ,or Ladyboy at Real , that is why we buy the best players in the world , to pull you out of the crap and also why we take some much shite from opposing supporters about spending money, buying trophies blah blah blah.

We should be strolling this league.

You are simply projecting the current instrument being used by some sections of the media to create their own backstory. This phallacy that "we should be strolling this league" (something that I have not heard said by a single genuine City supporter) sets it up nicely so that, if we do, well they told us so so no big deal and, if we don't, well what a bunch of tossers we must be. The irony being that the same cockroaches are extolling the virtues of how refreshingly open the league is this season.

Read two Guardian match reports today. Arsenal and City. Different reporters I acknowledge. Arsenal won when playing badly which was the stuff of champions. City showed they 'can scrap' but the performance left a lot to be desired. All seems fair.

I read those two reports but not sure they were that critical of us. Also did city look tired? For long periods the performance was not too disimilar to games like at Stoke etc. Organised team shows more effort, commitment etc

If the performance was uniques to the busy christmas period it could be argued fatigue was a main factor. Sadly it just looked like many other away performances where a number of players have underperformed.

Our players did look tired, I thought many of them, silva included, looked hungover and lethargic - I'm concerned that we have God knows how many games coming up in the next 30 days and we've started off the period with a fortunate victory in this manner. Unless, of course, they are all conserving their energy for the forthcoming matches? Who knows!

There's a difference between having different views and badly slagging off the club you purport to support at any given opportunity..there are a few on here that like to do the latter..their reasoning is their own but personally I think it's pathetic

I think our team has played like that more often than not this year away from home. It cannot always be fatigue especially when they seem a different side for the following home match. Its a mentality issue for me.
