I think you are all going OTT over Pellegrini.

We have about 14 fit senior players according to pellegrini. That's the main reason behind our performances.

Spurs and liverpool next up. I dont care what anyone says but if we take fuckall from those two we are in a fight for fourth.

I agree. Think we will be in a fight for fourth unfortunately.

Those saying we won't are the same that said we would beat Leicester in the pre-match thread.

We have too many injuries, too many players not good enough or not giving a shit and a manager that is stubborn in his all out attacking tactics, complete with no preparation in training.

You don't get picked in a best 11 of the CL group stages if you're gash, mate.
He's got loads to improve on, he's raw as fuck at the moment and I've said the same all season but the tools are there. With the right guidance he'll become a player.
100%

Under a decent motivational manager Sterling will pay dividends

The price was nothing to do with Sterling himself but I still think he'll come good..

The price we have to pay will go up under Pep I think. We need to introduce a brokerage system where clubs are sounded out about a player's availability and price BEFORE the selling club know the interested party

He could have juggled players today to give us a better chance of winning the game. His inclusion of Kolarov over Clichy was enough for him to be sacked on its own.
Unfortunately that's not going to happen so we've just got to keep our fingers crossed we can get over the line in the COC and stay in the top four.

I'd start Kolarov most weeks.

Wasn't having a go at you btw :-)

You know the one I'm talking bout though right? Lol
I was in the zone today mate, I was getting that worked up I didn't notice much around me! Haha!
Where was that? I'm in row s near the end of my row. Most people can usually hear me around there.. :-)

Did Barcelona comtemplate the fee for Suarez, or did they just pay it.

The two main game changers for the last 5 years, Silva & Toure have been performing well below our expectations for a while now.
Taken together with another poor selection and it would seem a poor preparation combined to give us something we have all been expecting.

My concern are that we may have trouble recovering, leaving us with no chumps league next year, a squad needing major surgery and another wasted year in transition.

Anyone who has sympathy for the charming man should think again. He's failed to do what all top teams do, keep reinventing. All MP has done is relied on Mancinis team.
Fucking pathetic for the money he is on and the money he has spent.

If we are to win anything this season then Yaya will be the pivot. He is the only midfielder who can pick a pass and control the midfield.

That said, Pellegrini needs to dramatically alter how he utilises him. We need to use him like the Ivory Coast do. As a playmaking defensive midfielder. Remember, Pirlo and Xabi Alonso were not the most mobile and best defenders either. Watching him these past few weeks playing high up the pitch is embarrassing. He's like an overweight dad playing with 15 year old energetic kids and having rings run around him.

Allow Delph and Fernandinho to still do the majority of the defending but also give them a license to press higher and push up. Let Yaya roam around from deep and link all of our play together.
The problem is, that means playing a midfield three. Similar to the formation against seville.
Especially suited for us considering we play very attacking full backs.
Pellegrini just won't do it.

It looks that way after today, but I believe that was the nadir and will be a turning point in the season. We cannot be that bad again, professional pride won't allow it. The players and Pellegrini will take a long look at themselves after this debacle and turn things around.
I thought that after Spurs, then Liverpool, then Stoke...
It ain't going to happen.
Pellegrini is wedded to tactics totally unsuitable to the players he has available.
I knew what was going to happen today as soon as I saw Delph playing wide left.

Unfortunately these are probably the players that know they're going in the summer.

I think everyone has seen for weeks that our current defence is not good enough. I cannot understand that if we can see it, why have the management not seen it and addressed it in the transfer window. Surely we could have signed someone or sorted a loan deal for an improvement in that area. I now think the season will more or less implode because of the naivety of the management thinking that defence will see us till the end of the season, picking up a trophy or two

He was hard to miss ;-) I'd say maybe row D maybe?

I don't blame him though they were pissing me off too

They could have brought Denayer back but they are too stupid or perhaps pig headed and believe we'll get by
