You know the score, one season does not make a player shite overnight, hence I used the hazard comparison. For what it's worth, I agree on the 'impact' of the signing, however, all good signings need a warm up act, one that is happy to shun the stardom and have an influence in an unorthodox way, everything coming out about the lad points towards something we need in abundance.... At least you changed it to "slagging him off" after realising that everyone was judging him, only mine wasn't one that matched your judgement of him and the transfer. Although "average" isn't slagging someone off if like you say the fee is low..
