I know he can be a mardy bugger but i do rate him and think we have missed him,if pep can drop him deeper we wont miss yaya so much if he goes

I rather him stay if injury free. He was one of the few reasons last season was less industrial. I thought the 2nd leg against Real would have seen us try more if Nasri played. When he was injury free he was pivotal in a few games with winning goals or free to roam performances. Yes he is not Silva but that is to his strength, he is so different from Silva that our team takes a different shape when he plays.

But in reality I think it's too little too late. He has always been an able deputy to Silva. When Silva was injured he took the cause and nailed player of the month. He also brought the best in Yaya as I recalled the two were closest in training and Nasri helped out with Yaya's free kicks during training. Yaya and Nasri has always been effective in stretching the opposition.

Mubarak buddies

Nasri is so under rated by so many people missed him massively last season
If he WAs fit all season we would of been closer to leicster and arsenal

He certainly has no future on the wings in Pep's system. He just isn't the kind on player Pep wants there. We have Silva and Kevin for the #10. So the only position would be CM. But i do think Pep would rather have someone like Kroos there if it's possible. But if not...who knows?

I think he has more of a chance making this team at a deep CM position than he would on the wing...just isnt quick or direct enough for Pep's system....I feel he could do well in a CM position and would be worth letting him have a year to show Pep what he can do...He came back really strong/hungry after the injury and if he can keep that up, he has a chance to do really well in the system..

Never gives the ball away and in the Roma game he was awesome. Could be the gem in the middle of a fluid pep midfield.

Very intelligent footballer.

He will have to significantly increase his work rate if Pep is going to keep him.

I hope he does. Time will tell.

Never have respect for anyone who didn't bother to get fit for the cause.

Good player on his day but he's have to shift some serious timber to be a player Pep will consider.

Bit harsh on a player who has missed most of the season due to an injury and had approx 100 stitches in his leg.
FWIW I think we missed him last season, there were games that we probably would have won if we had retained the ball better and seen the game out.
