The hissing and nazi salutes are from a small number of scumy cunts that call themselves fans but they don't represent most of us. As for the goal the other day, if it had been given then spurs would have been unlucky because Gomes was quite clearly fouled.

Some of our fans are idiots but you get them at every club. You can't use logic and reason against them because they don't understand how to debate properly.

I agree with eveything you said, I'm an eternal optimist and as long as he goes all out attack against the likes of Everon/Villa/Spurs at home then I'll be well happy.

I'm not basing my comments on the last game but on the last season. I'm very optimistic about the future under Mancini like I have already said in this thread. Last year his tactics were pretty negative though and it was the same pre season and yesterday. I know we'll improve as the team gel but...

Is it frowned upon here to want us to attack more? It's great to see all these top players playing for us but I just hope we use them to the best of their ability.

But you can play attacking and not let that many in at the back. That's why Spurs finished above us, we had them at home and just needed to beat them to get Champs League but we were negative and payed the ultimate price.

I agree with the OP, this isn't a kneejerk reaction but a statement of fact. Mancini will win us games and in a few years will win us the league but the reason that Spurs are better than us at the moment is that they attack and they take chances by sending players forward. Their fans demand it...
