    Liverpool Thread - 2023/24

Very good manager, very bad loser. The Andy Murray to our Roger Federer if you will.

European Super League | ECJ rule that UEFA and FIFA acted unlawfully in blocking Super League (p 29)

I think the ruling is good for us in our fight against the PL. If PL rule against us in a big way then we should get into bed with Real and Barca on the super league in my opinion.

Luton Town (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

Foden has to start in the middle from here on out, he affects the game so much more. Please for the love of god don't put him on the wing next match. Thought we did ok in the circumstances, good 3 points. Hopefully it gives us a bit of momentum for the upcoming winnable games!

    I Know It’s Over

There is a number of things going against us at the minute partly self inflicted and partly other teams scraping wins in the last minute which makes our predicament look a lot worse. Neither Arsenal or Liverpool are convincing and they will drop a significant amount of points between now and...

Aston Villa (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

He was brought in to replace Laporte but there's a question as to why we even needed to do that. It remains to be seen whether he is better than his predecessor at centre back but it would be nice to actually see him given a go there!

Aston Villa (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

Gvardiol will get chastised on here but he is being hung out to dry by Pep in my opinion. Never a left back, being played out of position week in week out.

    Media Discussion - 2023/24

Carragher is an absolute disgrace in more ways than one and should have been removed from his position immediately after the spitting incident. Substantially more bitter and bias than Neville and one of the reasons why I no longer give Skysports my hard earned pennies.

Spurs (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

Our defending is shambolic at times, it does feel like every shot on target ends up in the back of the net at the minute however. On a side note Gvardiol not a left back, Foden not a winger.

    Players who might improve us

This will have been said already but Rafael Leao is an unbelievable player would but top of my list.

    47 | Phil Foden - 2023/24

I pray to god he doesn't now get stuck back on the wing for Spurs. Give the lad a run of games in that central position and he will be unstoppable.

    47 | Phil Foden - 2023/24

Really frustrating to watch at the minute as we know he can be the best player on the pitch but doesn't do it consistently enough. Thought he would have kicked on more by now than he has having said that he is never a winger for me and won't excel in that position.

Benjamin Mendy leaves City | Launches “multi-million-pound” claim against club over unpaid wages (p118)

If he wasn't paid retrospectively following his acquittal then he probably has a fair claim, it wasn't his 'fault' he wasn't able to play despite the fact he was robbing a living before hand. Whether you think he is guilty or not he was found not guilty by this countries justice system (which...

Chelsea (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

Pretty poor from us so good point in the end. Palmer kicking the penalty spot is really poor and probably a reflection of his character, glad he is not at the club.

Match Thread | Chelsea vs Man City (12/11/23)

Don't think I've ever seen Dias give the ball away as much in one half before. Rocket from Pep at half time and we win this with ease.

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Mate your owners won't be using the drawbridge they will be helicoptering in. We all know what they are and they won't win, I hope Newcastle start spanking the money out to be honest and I will watch with great satisfaction our title battles in the not too distant future.

    5 | John Stones - 2023/24

I'm struggling to see where I said I'm not happy? Doesn't look like you can read. You seem like a very angry person, are you alright? No one is beyond reproach in any line of work.

    5 | John Stones - 2023/24

Nonsense, this would mean any of Pep's tactical decisions were beyond reproach. Who does know Peps reason for starting him and thus is allowed to potentially criticise?

    5 | John Stones - 2023/24

Unforgivable really, how can he possibly be 100% fit to start this game. Not a good look in my view.

Newcastle (A) | Wed 27th Sept | EFL Cup | Post Match Thread

'A famous victory for Newcastle' the commentary made it sound like I was watching City V The Dog and Duck. In terms of the actual competition...... meh.
