    Cameron vetoes EU Treaty change

We were told we would get a vote then the MPs just accepted it regardless. They knew that we would reject it. Like we would vote out of Europe now. They're scared. The Irish really had no choice. Very little was changed and they were just doing what Europe does best and dictating the vote.

Yes and with it the money that comes into the UK that helps our economy. I agree that banking shouldn't be our only forte but get over some of your socialist bias.

    Did DZ throw the game?

Re: Champions League Conspiracy Some really soft goals. Their keeper didn't look to try and save a couple. But Ajax can blame themselves for not getting a result. Edit just saw that Ajax had 2 disallowed. will have to watch them.

    Cameron vetoes EU Treaty change

Why do we always get this Little Englanders bollox when we reject Europes dictation. Surely it's the little Froggy's and Little SaurKrauts too. They don't care for British interests and would rather we handed them our powers. We need to look after our own interests. The Euro went the way I...

    Cameron vetoes EU Treaty change

So you'd rather lose all power we ever had? Lets face it the French and Germans have been trying to get rid of us since we got in. They still harbour national jealousies over the past and don't want us having a say. How could he stay in negotiations. All but 4 had signed up and 2 of those 4 are...

Let's see how smart Blues are UPDATED.

Bystander! cheeky sod. I gave some answers to the first one. Unfortunately I didn't see the update and had already scrolled down to see some answers on the second. But I'll admit I only would have got the French Revolution and Columbus

What have you achieved this year?

for personal achievements 2011 has probably been the worst year. Out of work etc. I have though finally taken the step of starting maths and physics A levels. Only a small achievement but significant. Hopefully I can achieve the fete of finishing them because they're bloody hard. Roll on 2012

    Speed awareness course

Certainly agree with that last bit. Most people there when I went were 30s and a few older. Everyone held their hands up to their own stupidity barring one 40 odd year old who was so resentful towards the people taking the course. Even made out he was a better driver than everyone else there...

Re: Let's see how smart Blues are! I think Giving the year only is a little bad I think. There are a couple for 1989 at least.

    Only in the USA

A seriously screwed up ''right'' in America. I could slightly agree with the owning of a gun for protection but half the yanks own military grade equipment by the looks of things. A small handgun is slightly understandable but AK47s and the like are lunacy.

Her lips look ridiculous. Good voice but I just can't watch her sing with those bubbles moving where her mouth should be.

    what would you buy

Sort my family and a few mates out. Buy a huge farm and build a luxury house. Travel the world. Those are my first 3. There are hundreds of things I could do

    Could you retire on £1m

There was a couple on a programme about money the other night who had a property portfolio of 29 houses worth £4.5 million and they only earned £36,000 a year from that.

    Could you retire on £1m

Yes is the answer if you can avoid temptation. I'd stick it in an account and live off some of the interest. Just enough to pay a mortgage and food etc with a couple of holidays a year. I'd probably spend the rest of the time learning. But would I really want to? No. I would have to do...
