    Player topic: Sergio Aguero (2015/16)

Classy finish and hopefully this will see him off on a run of goals. He is being crowded out by defences sitting back and crowding the box when we stroke the ball sideways looking for options. I thought he was running his ass off in the first half looking for passes that never came.

    Watford post match thread

Shit performance but a brilliant win. That last ten minutes showed why we will win this league if the players and MP step up and really try to bamboozle teams with a variety of options. Even when some of our top players are having an off-day (Silva's passing in the first half was awful for just...

    Player Topic: Raheem Sterling (2015/16)

Raheem will learn things from playing and training with Kun that will help him lose some ideas he might have picked up from his time with Suarez. Such as, when you are close to goal against an opponent with a chance of scoring, try to score, first and foremost. And not to fall over and...

    The Derby Post Match Thread

A real Mancini-type performance from the lads today, especially the back 5 and the two Ferns, I'm very happy with the point and it never really looked in doubt. Bony is just lacking the passing confidence others in the team normally have to really click in matches, this lad can score (and to be...

    Media bias against City

Amazing how the media here in Ireland have completely ignored the fact that City are top with a 100% record, haven't conceded a goal and are already opening a gap on their rivals. Just listened to 2 separate reviews of the weekend and we have not been even been mentioned once. Same yesterday on...

    A nasty streak required?

Keane instilled fear, players were afraid of going near him, it gave him the time to make a pass, sideways, backwards, whatever way. That's the kind of player we need and if de Jong can get his safe passing game going....the new wanker, but our wanker!

    A nasty streak required?

In fairness, as much of a wanker as he was, Keane would be first pick on any team of the last ten or fifteen years. I have to amit it, sorry , I'm Irish, and I really enjoy the begrudging green rags wanting Stephen Ireland back, but Keane was some player. I want de Jong to be that kind of player.

    Nedum Onuoha noooooooooooooooo!!!

I admire your optimism. And Neds must stay! The best defender we have and he will only get better.

I think (hope) they'll be cursing us next May!

    Elano Staying?

I like Elano but I think sometimes his attitude on-field, and off-field, can be unsettling. MH was right to put a marker down last season. IMO, Hughes has class! Even when he was a rag prick, I admired his attitude. You're either a team player or sling it. Looking at the signings so far, and...

Official - Fernandes to St. Etienne

Re: gelson is going? Good luck to him but never rated him too much. A side ways midfielder with no punch. De Jong is what we need, a hard, no nonsense, kicker. Remember it took him all of two minutes to put Owen out of a game.

    Sheikh Mansour banner

Re: Shukran Sheikh New member of the forum. As a life-long City fan, living in Ireland and surrounded by the usual united/celtic/liverpool mob, I have to say this is probably the most enjoyable summer ever. I am really enjoying annoying the hell out of the rags over here about them becoming our...
