Sounds a very nasty injury, but he needs to get his head down, get fit and get into form, it's mid October and he has yet to turn up this season.

Are you stupid? Read the posts and the article above. He’s yet to turn up because he’s been injured and is working back to fitness. He’s been choosing to do extra training this week. No one becomes fit again overnight. But then you’re one of the posters who can’t resist an unnecessarily snide comment about Jack.

Nothing wrong with his comment tbf.

Watched some of the England game last night and Jack's technical ability compared to most of his team mates was noticeably superior.

What I notice more is players who get a lot of praise but give the ball away or lose it with a stupid flick or a poor pass! Grealish gave the ball away once or twice! Trent Maddison lost the ball in dangerous positions!

Grealish is from a technical point of view, the best winger I have ever seen in my lifetime together with Luis Figo.

Totally agree. Technically better than Arjen Robben, Leroy Sane, Sadio Mane, Franck Ribery, Neymar, Quaresma, Son, George Finidi.
IMO only Neymar is better in technique from this list, and I consider him more of a forward than a classic winger (hence not including Messi or Ronaldinho who also have better technique than Grealish).

Decision-making too. Granted, maybe 3/4 of the starting line-up would be unlikely to start in a competitive international, but still, there was an awful lot of lumping it long and hoping for the best. Big kick and rush vibes but Jack showed some patience and reading of the game.

I thought he did reasonably well. Still not at his sharpest but looking fitter and brighter and got a good hour into his legs which will do him a lot of good.

I thought it was interesting that both Maddison and Watkins drifted left at various points, giving Jack freedom to fill a central gap, from which he played a couple of very nice through balls.
