I don't understand the negativity against Doku.

He played out of his skin pretty much from his first game for us and everyone was shagging him.

He has a few off moments (in games where the whole team was off their best) and now people are acting like he's crap.

Staggers, slag. There have been multiple posts recently bemoaning the loss of Mahrez from the squad. He didn’t earn his three letter monicker for settling in quickly and tearing the opposition apart every game. Trust Pep and give the lad support and time.

Let’s give the guy a break, he was never as good as people hyped him up to be (especially after the Bournemouth game).

He’s not as bad as what is being made out now.

He’s raw but he’s got great acceleration, strength and I think he can pass the ball well.

He has the potential in time to be a player who cuts in from the left on his right foot and bends it into the far corner regularly scoring.

A bit Robben style but other the side, where you know what is going to happen, the defenders do, but when done right it’s very hard to defend against.

For this season, I see him more of an impact player as we approach the business end of the season.

Get behind him blues, he could have a couple of important moments for us.

I'd like to see him have a crack back at the RW.

He seems a little predictable and wasteful on the LW, perhaps switching up his position makes it harder for the opposition to defend him and let's him try a different way to attack. Still needs to be smarter on holding the ball.

First touch is one the hardest thing to train, you either have it or don't.

Yep think pep thought he had a great game at home against them maybe he get us a goal or and assist, Pep would learnt a lot from that game Nunes on the left and how poor Doku was up against a team like Bournemouth

Very predictable at the moment. I think he suffers because us playing slow against 11 behind the ball.

First impression was OK

Grealish has more depth for sure, more creative..

Had a great start to his City career, but his decision making recently has been abject. When he took Kev’s short free kick pass at the end and ran it straight into the nearest defender instead of heading for the corner flag, the language in our house was x-rated

Now I've rated Doku and I've defended him. When he's on it, he excites me. Classic winger who knows how to go outside his man.
But honestly, he's the last person you sub on if you want to simply play out the last ten minutes of game where you're suffering somewhat because the opposition can sniff a draw. Very strange sub decision by Pep.
