Definitely not a red. He flies in but pulls out pretty quickly and only makes a small bit of contact.

It's almost like he was trying to make a block rather than a tackle, if that makes sense.

Top top player. Today not his finest hour.

Distribution superb. Hits it far, hits it fast. Gets us going in a way none of others do. But golly, does he play on the edge sometimes. Convinced he’d get red for that near HT.

Hope Pep stays patient. Eric is great.

Thought he was pretty on top of things today, but he does have a penchant for trying to quickly correct a mistake, which leads to some rash moves.

Clumsy and hesitant today,he definitely doesn't have the presence,leadership or composure of Dias.

Partnerships matter. It was clear he and John hadn't played together in a minute. They both looked okay individually, but as a unit. It was a bit touchy.


And that we sometimes couldn't pass out of Burnley's pressure was often disappointing.

I'd say the yellow he was on was a contributing factor.
