How ironic that our midfield now has a 'Plodri' in it and we are fucking awful.
does this not sound insane to anybody else?

We did sign a capable deputy who had single-handedly ran MF and back line for Bielsa, who had been a standard England player and who turned into a jelly-bean the first time Pep set his eyes upon him. It is what it is!It sounds completely insane when the only reason he has to play 75 games is because we wouldn't sign a capable deputy. And we're doing the same thing to Erling.

Spot on.Whilst it would be brilliant to have him back before the end of the season, right now I’d just be happy if he came back the same player he was before the injury.

Spot on. We can complain about the schedule all we want and that's a separate issue, but in what world did we think that overplaying Rodri is going to end any different? We have played him non-stop, completely ignoring this issue for about 2 years. Not buying anyone to help out in this position is on us, not anybody else. The same thing is going to happen to Erling too, like you said, and that will be on us as well.It sounds completely insane when the only reason he has to play 75 games is because we wouldn't sign a capable deputy. He's gonna demand 500k/wk min for extension at the rate everything is going
Worth every fucking Penny mateI'd love to be Rodri's agent negotiating his new contract..
1 mil a week easy!
Shouldn't make an appearance at all this season or at the CWC honestly. Even at the start of next season, he needs to be reintroduced cautiously with how knee injuries can compound.Apparently he's ahead of schedule but I really hope he's not rushed back.
Can you imagine if we rushed him back like we have done with other players and he breaks down like other players have? A horrifying thoughtApparently he's ahead of schedule but I really hope he's not rushed back.
Being ahead of schedule simply means he gets to his strengthening phase of rehab earlier and gets longer at it, not that we'll get him back any earlier. Being able to walk and subsequently run, isn't a major problem with these injuries, the problem lies with twists and turns, especially sudden ones, that's the danger.Apparently he's ahead of schedule but I really hope he's not rushed back.
