Simply not good enough

Give the guy a chance, we have given Phillips 18 months and some on here want him to get more time.

Nunes is a talent and working with Pep could make him into a very, very good player.

It's amazing how many players have been written off in their first season; Gundo, Stones, Bernardo, Mahrez, Rodri, Ake to name a few, only to come good in their second season and yet people still do the same thing with every new player who doesn't immediately set the world alight.

To be fair to Nunes it was only down to Paqueta's charges that we did sign him. And along with the rest of the midfielders injuries, suspensions and loss of form there has been little wriggle room to fully bed him into the team. Same with Kovacic.

Something's clearly amiss when a just back from injury centre half and a 19 yr old right back start in central midfield in front of a £55m midfield signing.

Definitely got a lot of natural talent though. Far more potential to work with than Kova and Kalvin. Not saying he’ll come good but are midfield signings have been shocking when you look at the players who’ve left or are getting towards the end in the last fe we years.
