Against a team last night who put men behind the ball, he broke the lines & could be an asset when we play teams that sit in & we are struggling to break them down.

First game where we really saw what Pep wanted when he signed him. Nunes, Doku and Kovacic all very good at driving with the ball and getting us 20-30yrds up the pitch quickly.

Think there’s a real player in him. Looked excellent last night, some of his bursts through midfield were YaYa like.

He's young but not that young.

He's like Mahrez in that he started to play professionally a bit later than his peers.

Ceiling is very high. He can develop from a squad player to a world-class player over 18-24 months.

Just not clicking for him just yet but he's getting there. He might be one of those players who explodes into his stride in his 2nd season with us. Jacky boy did that

I guess KDB recognized his potential, which can be seen from some details on the pitch, KDB still saying something to him when celebrating the goal. He wants to teach Nunes something.

You can only learn by playing with the best.

Thinking he'll not succeed at the club is not the same as wanting him to fail, I just think Sevilla, Villareal, Aston Villa, Newcastle is his level.

We'll see.

I'd be curious to see him at RB. He's certainly got all the physical tools. Having him invert and take a lot of defensive burden off of Rodri, I think is pivotal. Especially, with KDB back.

Its interesting how many times this season he's ended up playing a false 9 role, Pep clearly likes him for his bursts towards the box.

Fascinating player, could go so many ways.

Early days but I'm still a bit on the fence. He was really good yesterday though.

He's young but not that young.

He has some very obvious weaknesses, but his weaknesses are quite important parts of playing in our team.

He obviously has a lot of strengths and ability as well.

In a game he'll do a lot of good things, but also quite a few bad things. That's okay if you're making the difference like a Haaland or KDB, but when you're just a squad player it's not really what you're after.

But then with time and coaching I think he has a really high potential.

See how it goes I guess. It's not like we're really relying on him anyway.

He came into the game late and only has just over 100 games at pro level, he has a lot to learn and catch up on but he has the talent to do so.

I think a lot of people will be eating their words next season on Nunes, immense talent and something the squad will lack as KDB gets older is his ability to drive into space with the ball like Nunes is so good at.
