Ward-Prowse is so much better than Rice, I think that was the main difference in the 2 games.
One is forward thinking with a wide range of passing and excellent sense of when to play a pass, the other is terrified of doing anything with the ball.
As a result Foden, Mount & co. got very little good, early ball. Foden in that Andorra game would drop deep, get the ball in a pocket of space, turn and run. Last night Rice was so scared to pass him the ball that the Hungarian midfield had already closed down the space he was creating by the time he got possession.
