Just fucking lolStrange his form started to dive ever since we signed that waster Grealish who he's been hanging out with

So you think Phil gave Young problems yesterday? I thought he was really poor. That old rag seemed bang up for it and Phil seemed really fucking hesitant for some reason. Young absolutely pocketed him.
3 according to the PL stats. Only KDB has more in the PL thise season.Foden has 2A according to PL website. One of the pass midweek was deflected by the defender so it did not count.
Every time he got the ball he passed it back to the nearest City player. Where is the player that ripped Liverpool apart less than 18 months ago, let's get that player back because this version of Phil is underwhelming. It seems most of the cry arsing stems from the fact he didn’t meg Ashley Young every time he got the ball.
That player has been told by his manager that to stay in the team he has to sacrifice his natural game and become a cog in a well oiled machine.Every time he got the ball he passed it back to the nearest City player. You do agree that the match winning other version is better though. I agree with nearly everything that Pep does and I find it hard to believe that he is stifling Phil natural talent because that really doesn't help Phil or the team in my opinion, which I realise really doesn't matter. That player has been told by his manager that to stay in the team he has to sacrifice his natural game and become a cog in a well oiled machine.
Unfortunately that leaves him open to a bit of grief whenever we drop points.
We are unlikely to see the 17/18 year old version of Foden again whilst Pep is our manager so I suspect he’s going to be getting a rough time of it for the foreseeable from those who can’t see the woods for the trees.
What it’ll do eventually is turn him into a well rounded player who excels at most parts of the game. You do agree that the match winning other version is better though. Or he might just be having a dip in form. What it’ll do eventually is turn him into a well rounded player who excels at most parts of the game.
Sadly for Phil, in the meantime it means his individual brilliance will have to be curtailed.
Doesn't really change anything I've said wherever he's having a dip or not.Or he might just be having a dip in form.
Yes what people forget or don’t want to acknowledge Young is a very experienced and good premier league full back , Foden is still a young player learning the game. See you managed a Grealish dig in a Foden discusion, well done. His performances have become very ‘Grealish like’. Keeps the ball well, isn’t losing it much, but equally isn’t doing much with it. 90% of the time playing it safe, cutting back and playing short backwards passes.
It’s a complete change from the foden we saw in his first 2/3 years of first team football. That raw talent and confidence on the ball.
I don’t think he’s entirely to blame, his position is clearly not suiting him, but Phil Foden should not be getting dominated by a 37 year old Ashley young.
Par for the course with a lot of the gobshite on here.Yes what people forget or don’t want to acknowledge Young is a very experienced and good premier league full back , Foden is still a young player learning the game. See you managed a Grealish dig in a Foden discusion, well done.
Also he put KDB on his arse and fairly as well!Yes what people forget or don’t want to acknowledge Young is a very experienced and good premier league full back , Foden is still a young player learning the game. See you managed a Grealish dig in a Foden discusion, well done.
Pathetic postStrange his form started to dive ever since we signed that waster Grealish who he's been hanging out with

Frustrating to watch at the moment, incredibly gifted footballer but as you say we are not seeing the Foden of early last season. I think most would agree his best position is in midfield where he can have more of an impact on the game, but I can't see Pep playing him there anytime soon. His performances have become very ‘Grealish like’. Keeps the ball well, isn’t losing it much, but equally isn’t doing much with it. 90% of the time playing it safe, cutting back and playing short backwards passes.
