There's a lot of off topic crap on this thread now, maybe discuss Foden's abilities in his thread?

Bobb was class. He is class. He needs starts or he'll end up getting frustrated and we'll lose him. He could potentially become that good that he plays his whole career at City, along with Lewis and Foden.

His positional sense on the left was great, lots of movement and rotations with other players. Fitted right in.
This is his still his first season with the first team, and he's aware that he's coming into the best team in World football. I suspect he's quite happy to take his time right now - especially as he's getting a reasonable amount of chances.

He's also a little older than some of the other players who have broken through - so hopefully he'll have the maturity to be ready to contribute more quickly, but also a little humility/patience, as he's had to deal with it not being quite so easy at Academy level.

When we played Chelsea in the third round last year, we started with Palmer and Gomez, while Lewis came on as a sub. Confident Bobb can start against Huddersfield.

With Pep you never know - but given Huddersfield are in such poor form this year, you'd hope that he takes the chance.

He played well when he came on and looks ready.
His vision and pass for Alvarez's goal was top class.
I hope he starts next week.

He certainly deserves it, and I can’t recall him letting anyone down when he has been given an opportunity.

His goal in Belgrade was top drawer and his contribution again today was decisive. He could be a really useful player for us during the run in and the more he plays the better he’ll be.

With de Bruyne nearing return and Doku to come back, the opportunities in the coming weeks may not present themselves as frequently, so a start would be welcome.

Bobb is officially part of the rotation imo. If City are going to win trophies they're going to need a deep bench with scoring/creative options and he's going to be a big part of that. He's the perfect compliment to come on late and add some creative flair.
