Only if you want to balance it with games played and contributions. Unless you think we won titles and trebles playing half the season with 10 plus a passenger ?

Meteoric? Somewhat exaggerated I think.
Taken to the Euros by Southgate? Not exactly a glowing endorsement.
I have seen no evidence of this ‘great’ breaking of lines.
Wharton may become a top player, who knows? I’m ambivalent I guess.
I just don’t see it. Only my opinion.
 
Not seen much to suggest he’s the answer to our current problems. He has potential but we need an immediate improvement and energy in our team, not to mention more goal threat from midfield. I don’t think Wharton could be that guy.
 
I've not watched a minute of Palace this season but he impressed the hell out of me when I saw him last year and thought he would be perfect for us.

he was the only LW at the club and the only player that cost £100m, of course he was going to play

So you don’t think he played any part in that success orf 3 titles and a treble and we were effectively a team of 10 . Pep must be even more of a genius than we thought. You think his contribution was equal to that of Carson and Phillips? Well it’s an opinion I suppose.

He played a part for sure but nothing that makes him 100% a successful signing for £100m. He was definitely more successful than Philips though.
 
grealish might have been part of the treble winning team but if i could go back in time and undo that signing i would. much better options for that money given the level of impact
 
I don't get the logic of swapping one squad player for another. As much as we are thin on numbers I don't think we are desperate.

Kabore is the only 'cfg' lad i can think thats coming back this window (if negotiations with Benfica are confirmed) not sure Palace have an interest thoguh
