Who do you think is less happy about this deal:

Us or Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, and United. Pretty sure its the latter which to me means its a good thing.

maybe maybe not. If I understand the rules the wages they pay for his service this year count as profit for FFPR. The part we pay do not. If he does well they can buy him for 12 million next summer. If everything works out we could get 7-8 million this year and another 12 next.

It is ridiculous but we're our own worst enemy because of the huge contracts we offer, making it hard to shift these players.

Zenit and PSG both allegedly made good cash offers for Adebayor and he personally refused both transfers - I wonder if he would have chosen different had PSG made the offer after their signing spree of players like Pastore, as they are going much further than Spurs in the next few years.
