Im not denying it could happen, but he's not the first person and won't be the last to leave on a bosman deal. We've just signed one this summer, who is known to have a similar 'fighter' attitude to Sanchez, and he was highly commended for his performances last year.

He looks like a player Kolasinic. We were linked with him too. Papers saying that Arsenal offering improved terms to Sanchez. Dont know if its true. I'd be quite happy if he stays at Arsenal as I feel City need young blood and both Aguero and Sanchez have had their best days. If City keep our powder dry, next Summer we can almost pick and choose providing we have a good season next year.

Wont wish you good luck tomorrow because you are one of our rivals. Hope you stick around though. It's always interesting to hear what other fans think.
 
seems like he's gonna come. crazy how much attention the mbappe thread is getting. the kid hasn't really ever shown any real interest in city. sanchez will make the bigger immediate impact anyways. would be very happy to see this come off. him and kun is a dream

Arsenal as a football club would be beyond stupid to not sell him. Think about the other players if they see him slacking off and he's still guaranteed first team. They've only got 5 months till he starts negotiating with other teams.

I've been convinced he would come all summer. Last 10 days..Not so much. Would have thought he would have agitated by now.

Where has they been a quote from Sanchez , that he wants CITY and nothing but CITY We havent even put in an offer to start the ball rolling, not publically anyway , yet are own local newspaper are asking blues to write in to predict his number for us . Stinks of manyoo arrogance not a good colour on us, excuse the pun

why would sanchez come out and say that publicly? too good of a professional for that nonsense. whatever his intentions are he's making them known behind closed doors, as he should be. we'll see how it plays out. but my guess is he's being extremely respectful to the club in hope that they show him the same respect and allow him to go where he wants to go. i think he wants the move

That may be the point of the delay.... there is more than a little theatre in these things sometimes.

If he'd agitated that would get the deal done, but it could look like city tapping up. It could disrupt Arsenal's start to the season. And it could possibly negative for his image. There would be a bit pressure in some quarters for Arsenal to keep him to teach him a lesson - if they didn't, they risk the narrative becoming "Weak Arsenal". It's not good for anyone.

If he didn't agitate, but Arsenal sold him to us straight off, it would suit him, it could suit us, but could also lead to a long negotiation with the price going up. It certainly wouldn't look good for Arsenal. And why should they move first, when waiting tests his and city's nerve? Lemar and Monaco, are both waiting anxiously. Better for Arsenal than them going early and getting into a long negotiation with Monaco that could only increase the fee and wages.

If Arsenal delay, offer a new contract, it looks to everyone like they really tried, but made the smart business decision. The Arsenal fans will be more bothered about Lemar and the start to the season. Arsenal also avoid going to early on Lemar. Sanchez hasn't risked damaging his image, or played the first card, so it suits him. We've got the vast majority of the team ready, so it's not a disaster for us.

The talk of a new contract could be seen as Arsenal's final admission that the cost of losing him on a free, and missing Lemar, is very significant. It's pretty much an inescapable fact, and the best way for City to leverage it has been to let that prospect loom larger and larger by not making the first move. The Mbappe saga plays well for us because that deal would increase the chances of us dropping the interest in Sanchez AND strengthen Monaco's desire and ability to keep Lemar.
 
Still never wanted us to get him, Sane, Sterling, Aguero and Jesus is enough fire power for me, with KDB and the Silva's getting a few as well. Also gives Diaz a chance to get some games.

Switch to 3-5-2 essentially allows Sane and Sterling to play as one of the strikers, with Sane also able to play LWB. Can see all 4 interchanged regularly.
 
There is lot of risk getting mbappe and SANCHEZ 100% will be WC we already face so much criticism from media for spending so much on players imagine if mbappe just turns out to be average
I think if we are ready to spend 100+ buy Sanchez for 65m and van dijk for 50m
