It ain't going to happen Sanchez is playing a money game with Wenger, forget him and we need to look elsewhere

I had take him in a jiffy next season on a free, he will only be 29 by that time and easily 3 seasons at the top for him. He is a beast. In this market, Sanchez on a free is jizz worthy.

Llorente
Giroud

I know im gonna get a lot of stick for this but here goes

We still have Bony and I dont see the point of signing a back up striker to sit on the bench. We might as well save the money for January and go all out for PEA from Dortmund. Bony wants to stay and fight for his chance and if Pep gives him until January you never know.

Totally agree - Bony was the prems highest goalscorer at Swansea - as a back up he is decent. Quite happy with him as 3rd choice striker if no one else comes in.

Starting to think Giroud would be a good option ;)

The fact is he doesn't want to sign a new contract.

Arsenal fans can't lament Wenger if he doesn't want to stay. It would be a terrible financial decision to miss out on £50 million.

You don't want an unhappy player in the dressing room.

I'm still quietly confident - I don't see how putting a transfer request in will help the situation.

I hate Paul Merson saying that we must win the title this season. It shows that he doesn't understand the imbalance in our squad.

There is no inbalance in our squad. Not in the way you are thining anyway

If Guardiola felt we were short of forwards we'd have a whole range of fall back options if Mbappe and Sanchez fell through and wouldn't have sold Iheanacho.

Right, let's suppose Aguero gets injured tomorrow. Who do you replace him with upfront?

Jesus is fanatastic but too early to rely on him. Sterling is not a natural finisher. Bony?

I just don't see enough goals and clinical finishing.

We play Jesus or an extra midfield because we have a lot of players who can score from midfield

We were short of forwards when Jesus was injured, but Pep was still very reluctant to play Kelechi.

I think Raheem as a false nine would thrive and really improve his finishing. Maybe we will see this season.

He's looked the part pre season. His finishing has been superb.

I recon he's 'given the keeper the eyes' twice, once being the so called 'scuffed' finish v Spurs. I recon he was arguing that point with Arteta after the game & explaining it to him.

I agree. It looked deliberate and his reaction confirmed that for me. If Raheem's improved his finishing as much as his pre season form suggests, phew, what a player we'll have on our hands!

I feel,if we have Brahim and Phil in the squad permanently that gives us two teams with a mix of world class and potential world class. What's not to like?

What a window it has been if it's been the one to actually break @richards30 enthusiasm lol.

@Zin 'messiah' Zimmer is probably toasting like Gatsby right now lol.

Haha far from it mate! Am ectastic with the defensive signings and Bernardo! Just rather than hanging around he is either desperate to come or we say good luck and move on? Would rather us get VVD to be honest And strengthen the defence even further. Been a brilliant window though and one more top signing would be the cherry on the top
