Arsenal (H) - FA Cup | Post Match Thread

Yer can always get in - the guys at the ground would sort it out. I went to a game some weeks back and my phone was still showing the Rag game ticket - three attempts to refresh and it was the third attempt that gave me the right game. I think if I turned up without my phone I'd still be able to get in.
I left home once without my phone so obviously had no access to my ticket. I just went to the ticket office and they printed off a paper ticket.

Arsenal will go all the way with us to try and win the title. They gave improved under Arteta. And I think it suits us. When you have won 4 out of 5 titles a challenge will keep the players hungry.

Just to try and give an honest opinion. And that’s hard with twats like Jack Hackett on here. Appearing now that his beloved Arsenal are having a good season. So typical for fans from the so called and very much former “top 4”.

As an Arsenal backer frankly happy with the loss. People can call it loser or small club mentality but when you haven’t won the league in 19 years and you have a relatively thin squad you prioritize competition our biggest competition.

Pretty happy with how our team fared when Thomas was in there. We don’t play well at City no one really does. Lots of changes, and felt we outplayed City and had better chances what they were for early part of match. If City wanted to dent the team’s belief or put fear in us then on that score they failed

Nothing, the bar code works and you would've been sent relocation seat details by email.

Was that your reason for not going?
Only joined one cup scheme the FA one as I do not, at my age, enjoy midweek night matches but make the effort for PL games.

What happens Chelsea on a Sunday at 4:30pm, Arsenal Friday at 8:00pm and the next match is midweek as well.

That is the FA Cup scheme joining the other 2 schemes in the bin next season.

I thought we were ok last night. Not great but had enough to take care of that mob. Still. Few players not up to speed and I’m not massively keen on Lewis being the hybrid right back/ centre mid. Looked a lot better with Walker in the side. Haaland did ok. Nothing wrong there. Ake is Johnny in the spot at the moment. Ortega did very well. Liked his distribution and his minerals to pounce on the ball in the area.
De Bruyne is off the pace at the moment but I wouldn’t be writing him off just yet.

Apart from a few half chances in the first half I want that impressed with Arsenal. Nothing like the Liverpool team we have been trading with the last few years.
If and it’s a big if. If we are at it against them in the league games and have a settled side etc then they don’t live with us. May sound a bit arrogant but I’m not that bothered by them . They shit the bed last night when they are bang in form and we are just having a little rough patch.

They may go on and win the league but if they do then a large part is because of the way things are at city at the moment. Quite a bit of unrest and uncertainty around the squad and the futures of certain players.

But no they really don’t scare me and nothing I saw last night should concern pep or the boys.

Oh and as much as they want us to believe that was no youth/reserve team they had out last night.

Ps Holding and Sambi are garbage and should not play any meaningful minutes for the run in, Sambi should be loaned out and Holding given away for a free pizza and a bag of balls if anyone will take him
