On another note, does Napoli have to beat you lot 3-0 on Wed in order to finish 1st/2nd ?

So if Dortmund beat Marseille and Napoli beat Arsenal 3-0 then Arsenal are 'Thursday night, Channel 5'

Reasonable to assume then that Arsenal are through, even just on the 3-0 bit. On the other hand, you can't take these things for granted.....

Out of interest, do you know if its only 3-0, or would 4-1, 5-2 etc be the same?
3 goal win would be enough. They have to better the result that Arsenal got against them i.e a 2-0 win. It's head to head

Cheers!!

I was at the game today

Giroud is over cooked and needs a rest

We need to buy a striker in January otherwise our title hopes will slide

I think this will be our undoing. Loving the ride though.

A United friend of mine tried to poke me a little about last nights' result, took him a second to realize what he was getting into though, before he started hastily retreating. I asked him how wonderful it must have been for Moyes to finally see Everton win at Old Trafford.

Giddiness is obviously contagious.

And weird grammar too:

No mistake they are a decent squad, however when you look at the bench you may retract that and say starting eleven.

In any given game they can play as well as anyone almost but over a season ?, i have my doubts still.

this is a bit of a tired view, yea ok maybe striker i can agree we are short but otherwise we have a very strong bench now most of our players are back.

we had walcott rosicky and flamini come of the bench against everton. that still left gnarby/vermalin/monreal there. in other recent games we've brought cazorla/walcott/wilshere off the bench as well.

we still have podolski and ox to come back and diaby (yes yes i know) which will strenghten our bench further.

as i said i think thats a very strong bench no matter who plays.

A bench in need is a bench indeed.
