It is. Plus it makes no sense. Nor does karma tbh. Don't see too many billionaires living miserable lives.
He incited Tottenham fans whilst being stretched off. The FA should show consistency and ban him as they did with adebayor when he played for us. The injury sadly has robbed him of a season and they may have taken leniency because of it.

He seemed fit enough to sit up in the stretcher and give it the spurs fans and applaud the arsenal fans.

Horrible injury but with having the best medical treatments available he will be back.
Adebayor wasn't banned for the celebration, was he; he got the ban for the stamp on Van Persie's head.

He's started less than half their League games this season. but will hit Arsenal as they often use him as a sub late in games against tiring defences

Another blow to Arsenal's fading ambitions this year.

wouldn't say they are fading as we are still top of the league, same as we were a month ago.

huge shock about theo, just this morning on my twitter people were ruing our luck as theo was apparantly going to be out for upto 4 weeks. how we wish that was the case now!! never did anyone ever expect it would be anything like this, as many people on here have said he looked pretty comfortable when he was on the stretcher.

walcott is constantly ribbed about being a headless chicken and he probably was to an extent however in the last year and especially this season he has come on massively and now looks like a very intelligent player both with his finishing and general play. he gives us something none of the other players can.

the only plus point to all this is we have ox back and gnarbry as well who has all of walcotts attributes (pace/finishing) with more strength and more technical ability. right now though walcott is the better player due to his experience.

Emmanuel Adebayor given suspended two-match ban for Arsenal celebration

Emmanuel Adebayor will be available for Manchester City’s Premier League trip to Aston Villa on Monday after the Football Association cited "extremely provocative abuse" directed at the player as a key factor in the decision not to issue a suspension for his controversial goal celebration against Arsenal last month.

also didn't think about this but he will now be 29 before he gets his first opportunity to play in a world cup for england......

As I said. No actual ban for the celebration.

he was out with a 2/3 month injury, and was eased back.

fully fit i think he starts a lot of games for us, and is also a great sub to bring on late in a game.

I've got a decent pain tolerance but was rolling around for a bit with the ACL injury. I much prefered breaking my leg and wrist. With him being a wanker like Wilshere I don't have too much sympathy. He doesn't exactly set England alight either

It's so so wrong, but I laughed at this.

It could have been funnier if it was a stoke fan though.

Believe Spurs fans on twitter howling with laughter and abusing him, what a bunch of morons and do they not care about England?

Some of them probably aren't English, and some of the English don't care about international football.

At least, judging by this

I've got a pretty decent pain tolerance myself and have fractured a lot of bones, but apart from one ankle injury the pain's never been that bad. I hear an ACL injury is as painful as it gets for a sportsman. Said it before, but trying to break your opponents legs does not make you hard. Stuff like smiling with an ACL injury is hard.

Walcott has been hit and miss, but when on fire he has set England alight. The Croatia game away is his most famous moment, but the reason we were so good in qualifying was thanks to him. His form dipped and so did our form going into the world cup. He is going to a big miss for us.

-- Mon Jan 06, 2014 7:59 pm --

A case of stats not telling the whole story. He has been injured for most of the season and slowly phased back in. When fit more times than not is going to be in the team.

So Arsenal may be forced to spend this January. That'll be another couple of hundred on the price of next years season tickets then.

I am not sure they will or it's worth it. They look set to sign Draxler in the summer and he is going to be expensive and is cup tied. When you have designated targets in the summer it is sometimes not worth messing them up for a short term fix in January. In the summer Benzema, Draxler and Bender may be possible targets. A loan move for a striker might be the best option.

I can hear Wenger now, "Ox Chambelain will be like a new signing......"

It's a shame this Draxler story seems to be set up for the summer, sure could do with someone now to boost us.
