Funny how injury affects different players, he looked quite calm as he went off on the stretcher, when you compare that to the video of Van Nistellroy howling when he did his in training there is a marked difference.

I feared the worst for the lad when i saw the replay but after seeing him getting carried off i thought it was nothing too serious.

Sorry for the guy, never nice to see a bad injury.

That explains why the FA aren't all out to ban him as they were with Adebayor winding up opposition fans. Karma dealt him a tough lesson.

Losing Theo is a huge blow for us. I'm sure we will go out and buy now but I doubt anyone that we have a chance of signing this window will be able to come in offer us what he does. Chamberlain has returned to training so hopefully he and Gnabry will be able to step up.

Shame on the lad, he was hitting some form and would have been a great option for England at the WC.

Big blow for Arsenal as he was getting in amongst the goals while Giroud was being shit.

Not got any luck regarding world cups.

2006 - Taken as a raw teenager but never used

2010 - Injured

2014 - Injured

Feel sorry for the lad. Big blow to Arsenals title chances as well.

Real shock this!

Seemed quite comfortable as he smiled when he left the pitch. Arsenal player or not, gutted for the lad.

Will certainly force Arsenal's hand now in the window.

It is a major blow to both Arsenal and England and I would like to wish him well in his recovery. It is difficult to get a replacement at this stage of the season.

Terrible news for him. One of the worst and most painful injuries you can get and he took it so well never thought it would be serious. Hopefully he can make a full recovery.

A huge blow for Arsenal, because he gives them a completely new dimension, goals and a great threat on the counter. With him they had a decent chance of winning a trophy, probably the FA Cup, but an outside bet at the league and the CL. His pace would have been key to playing Bayern. I wonder how the players will react to this.

Big blow for England as well. I fancied our chances of getting to a quarter despite the doomsayers.

Believe Spurs fans on twitter howling with laughter and abusing him, what a bunch of morons and do they not care about England?

A tasteless comment
It is. Plus it makes no sense. Nor does karma tbh. Don't see too many billionaires living miserable lives.
He incited Tottenham fans whilst being stretched off. The FA should show consistency and ban him as they did with adebayor when he played for us. The injury sadly has robbed him of a season and they may have taken leniency because of it.

He seemed fit enough to sit up in the stretcher and give it the spurs fans and applaud the arsenal fans.

Horrible injury but with having the best medical treatments available he will be back.

Firstly Adebayor received no ban whatsoever for his celebration.

Notwithstanding that, your "karma" comment was peculiar.
