Got exactly what they deserved. They needed a second schooling of the season to show them exactly where they are at.

They're not a patch on the liverpool sides that have challenged us, not even close. They deserve to be top 2 but it's only because the rest of the supposed top teams have all shit the bed together, it's reminiscent of how they found themselves second to leicester. Chelsea might get somebody in to sort their shit out, liverpool will spend their way out of trouble and claim not to have spent a penny, United will always splash the cash and they have to get it right at some point even just by averages, arsenal won't find it so easy to be in the title mix next season. Add to that champions league football and I expect them to be aiming for top 4.

Seen that Ben white clip at the end. Lots of speculation it's linked to england, it's not implausible, especially when you consider those 2 would have been up against each other in training a lot but it's probably more putting 2 and 2 together. I think he's simply just a snide ****, he couldn't give off that vibe any more clearly the perma tanned towie cast off.

I also think it's telling nobody rallied around him to back him up, the best a few of them managed was to try and break it up, compare that to foden who had the whole team back him up, speaks volumes that. they all think he's a **** too, no way they leave someone like saka with no backup.

Well that was awful. Men against boys again. Those goals man, soft as shit. Just awful, awful goals to concede. The first, Holding and Partey, deary dear. The 2nd, yeah we won't bother to defend the set piece. The 3rd, yeah we'll just pass it straight to De Bruyne so he and Haaland can run at the defence. The 4th, that was a clearance from our throw in! Pathetic from us again. Well done, you looked different gravy tonight.

I genuinely think if QE2 hadn’t died and we’d have played them in September as planned we’d have smashed them and other teams would have realised much sooner they aren’t all that, and they wouldn’t have gotten their confidence/hopes up.

We did win 7 in a row after you beat us at The Emirates, so not sure that would be true.
Never in doubt. It's pretty scary that was first v second place and it looked like premier league vs a league one team. Could and should have been at least 8-0

City got rid of deadwood and its some of Arsenals best players. There is a reason them two werent trusted for the long run. Jesus' petulance and diving antics are awful. Zinchenko isn't surrounded by winners anymore and it's showing.

You knew Arsenal would crumble come the business end of the season. Arteta has become an unlikeable fella and I was always a big fan of his.

When Liverpool ran you close one season and won the league another, you knew they had it in them. This Arsenal team doesn't have that calibre of players or the mentality to do it.

We aren't as good as that Liverpool side were, that's for sure. We're still a young team, both in age and the teams evolution. This team and squad just aren't there yet, in terms of quality and mentality. Will they ever get there, I don't know, but we need to try. I highly doubt it will ever be enough to topple City under Pep, unless we can find a Rocky Balboa to come up against that Ivan Drago you have up front lol!

What exactly happened at the end ?
Missed it

Absolutely pathetic. I said it in the pre match thread, I wasn’t nervous about this one in the slightest. A much bigger game for Arsenal than for us and if you remove all the hype from the broadcasters, the game just didn’t have that gravitas of the games with the dippers over the years.

Arsenal could and should have absolutely gone for us last night, it was almost a one match shootout for them, they’ve got the points on the board and whatever the result we’d still be behind them. Instead they absolutely shit the bed, they looked petrified, constantly standing off us and over emotional.

There was a point where Zinchenko ran at Walker and the replay showed just how little fight they have, Walker ushered him off the ball with ease and Zinnys face was like that of the little lary schoolboy that has tried to play the boss all season getting slapped.

All the gooner talk will be that of ‘transition’ and ‘top 4’ now, but that’s just defeatist shite. They and many of the media believed they would come to us and match us at our own game. Instead they got absolutely battered, humiliated in front of the world. Not a single one of those players would get anywhere near our team with that mentality. A pale imitation of us, and I’ll say it again, ‘the tribute band’.

From being the worst iteration of a Pep team I have seen earlier this season to the very very best. The team and Earling have learned how to play together. His performance last night was brilliantly integrated into the team performance. Thats even when his finishing was a shade under his clinical best. When Kevin plays like that he is, for me the very best in the world. Every player was outstanding, the tactics and press and blocking of the passing lanes just phenomenal. When we are that good it doesn't really matter what the referee does and he was very biased last night.
Final word goes to Akanji. I have in the past criticised his ariel prowess and at times positioning. At left back last night he was just fantastic both his defensive work and his distribution. Well done son.

What a time to be a blue.

To be honest from my seat Jesus played well and harried the City defence. If Arsenal had more players with his spirit, they may still have lost but they wouldn't have been hammered.
Don't get me wrong Haaland and Alvarez are upgrades but Jesus is still a really good and gutsy footballer.
I loved Zin but he was always a squad player.
