So negative , maybe you should pack it in,oh wait, you tried to last season before the world cup break when you
offered your season ticket up for sale.

It was after the world cup break. I'd just seen us play against Tottenham putting no effort in and more charges came against us. Thanks for your concern though.

I have never seen a Pep team “putting no effort in”. I was at both spurs games and we put the usual effort in, we just had a bad game and a half, it happens

Think tonight's attendance and atmosphere could be the worse for a while. The weather is awful. People working in the morning and kids in school. Think it could be less than 35k tonight
For anyone who didn't go last night. I'd just like to correct this completely and utter misinformation. With the exception of a very small section of seats in the top tiers of the CB and West stands, the stadium was pretty much full. Yes there will always be the odd noshows in other seats but that's normal. Whilst I am disappointed that we were maybe a couple of thousand off capacity for an opening game of defending our trophy, to say we were 25k down borders on me thinking you are either a WUM, over anxious or not a city fan.

Red Star didn't take the 3 rd level of ss3.
Surprised they didnt put it up for our fans like they normally do.

I was expecting it to be quiet last night but it was a really good turnout considering they weren't exactly the biggest team to play against. Our tickets were £30 each. Near me it costs £15 to go on non-league Chorley at the weekend so nobody can really grumble at the prices.

The club can't do anything more, I think for many people (me included) it's all about the other costs like getting to the ground. ST holders have to pay for CL games so like everyone else they're going to pick and choose with the other costs too.
