benji to sunderland

Cant think like that. TBH Jones is a very average player as well and has not been the same this season after the injury. Plus they would probably loose Babel as part of teh deal and he is a quality player.

To be fair you can't really argue with bringing him in as long as Jones dosen't also go. I mean 500,000 for a player with his experience aged 31/40ish isn't bad at all.

Absolutely pissed myself at the end of that sentence. So true.

Absolutely pissing myself laughing at that thread.

I can't help but worry that Jones will look a much better player alongside Torres, and it will help the Spaniard no end to have a big fella by his side.

I know it's wrong to worry about other teams, but if this goes ahead and we get pipped for Champs League by the dippers then once again we will have shot ourselves in the foot.

From same thread

Another "next level" signing

THey are funny Sunderland fans. You cant worry to steps down the line what other clubs are doing. Liverpool were always going to get Jons anyway. I dont think he will make the difference tbh there problems are much more deep rooted in the Torres is out for another 4 - 6 weeks at least and Gerrard is clearly fucked - they have worn him out playing to many games and playing when he is carrying injuries.

Without Gerrard and Torres fully fit and firing on all cyliders Liverpool are not a top 6 side that is there problem and signing Jones wont solve that at all.

Well it's like this my blue friend, if you want someone to be sold it's possibly not a helpful thing to dwell on his less than good points on a public forum. You just never know who reads this stuff.

Benjani is a really good front man and I'd be sorry to see him leave.

Haha, point taken but it is a bit like locking the door after the horse has bolted. I agree wholeheartedly, benjani is a fantastic player with a wonderful smile which will illuminate the Stadium of Light.

From another benjani thread needs merging ?

PMSL set up 3 goals? Please... The ball just went to the right place by accident... he didnt mean to set those up in my humble opinion.

First one - Got on the end of bad punck by Robinson and knocked it back goalwards. Not exactly great skill but not an accident
Second one - Hit the post, should have scrored but right place and pulled off the defender well.
Third - Peeled off wide took the pass and cut it back perfectly for Tevez to score.

Not the greatest performance more more than accidental. As I said no Tevez but no Creanie either

hehe

1. Scuffed a shot - fell to Tevez
2. Scuffed a shot - fell to Micah
3. Wasn't looking for Tevez.

Pissed myself at last comments, so true....

From the Guardian - How the fuck do these people get jobs.

One player heading out of Eastlands could be Benjani Mwaruwari, whose representatives have been talking to Sunderland and could seal a £5million move before the English transfer window shuts at 5pm on Monday.
