Hopefully if he goes we don't go and try and negotiate with Lyon for Paqueta and just pay the price which they want instead. Aulas doesn't negotiate the Lyon owner, he has a price you pay the price you get the player. He's like the Napoli owner

Rumors of a €35-40m price tag?

That post by him does sound like a goodbye. Really hope he stays. Just one more season would do.
Not necessarily. It could just be his way of reciprocating the love and support he got yesterday. It was clear the fans knew the deal and so obviously did he.

I find it hard to believe we would agree this late an exit for this critical of a player without a definitive plan in place for his replacement. However, anything is possible.

I personally agree with some others on here that were he to leave we'd be better off moving Foden into the middle of the park and bringing in an attacking player. Nkunku would be the best option IMO. He's picked up right where he left off last season. He's an outright star in the making so it would be expensive but the Bernardo money would cover a big chunk of it.

As far as Foden, on KDB's goal he came back deeper and centrally to serve as an outlet and got the ball to KDB perfectly. On his goal he made a long run that started centrally and high. On both occasions he looked the part of of a CM, not a wide forward. If Southgate is serious about contending for a World Cup he should find a spot for Phil somewhere in the middle of the park. I believe within a matter of months he would be a beast there if given a full run of games.

We don’t want him and that’s because he isn’t good enough.

Lads - he’ll be leaving us this summer if Barcelona pay us £80m+ and we get a replacement in.

This isn’t a secret, and nothing over the last 24 hours changes that situation.

His appreciation for the support we showed him at the game and his thanks on Twatter don’t mean he’s trying to send some veiled goodbye message to the fans - they’re him thanking the stadium for our support. That’s literally what he says.

If he does get his move - I’m sure he’ll say his goodbyes then.

Fact is, based on their settlement on Friday Barca have to raise any money they spend - so if they bring in £80m of fees, I’m sure he’ll be gone.

Til then - nothing changes.

Almost everyone we deal with these days is like the Napoli owner.

Sense. Hes a witch, burn him.

Aulas is worse than Levy and bloom. He goes on radio stations and other forms of media when any of his players are linked to leaving did it heavily when Arsenal were after lacazette. Puts out statements alot of the time like the Napoli owner

I would say that last message indicates strongly he has nearly two feet out of the club…past tense is the giveaway…

Not necessarily. Context of the first sentence means he is referring to the events of yesterday so past tense in the second sentence is understandable. Present perfect in the second might allay fears, though, I agree.

Don’t agree mate .
He will be gone for under £65million and we won’t be bringing anyone in this summer . He should be £100 million and we should replace but we never replace the same window . Is it a mistake course it is .
